Galatians 3:24 says, “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us into Christ, that we might be justified by faith.” Many nowadays say that preaching the Law of God is “legalism.” But if we go to the Word of God, we will understand what the Lord is trying to do – produce genuine repentance in us. D.L. Moody rightly said, “The Law drives me to the foot of the cross and can do no more.”
While doing our assembly program, I will first bring people through the law of the land and show them that there was a price to pay by our forefathers and veterans to uphold and magnify that law. Therefore, we as Americans have an obligation to live for what they died for, that it would not be in vain.
Just as the Veterans bled the battlefields red with their blood so we could have the freedom we walk in today, so Christ did the same. 2 Corinthians 5:15 says, “And that He (Christ) died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.” Once we see what Christ did for us, we realize that we are not our own, we are bought with a price, that being the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. He came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). That is true freedom.
What does this administration have to do before we start talking about impeachment?
If all we do is judge what’s going wrong in our country for the sole purpose of having something to talk about (as it seems to be the case over the airwaves lately), we are glorifying the problem and encouraging unrighteousness to run rampant by leaving judgment undone. Let me say that again: if we merely expose problems with this administration or unlawfulness anywhere, we are helping their cause if we leave it without justice.
We need to bring about the answers and start talking about impeachment until people uphold the rule of law and execute justice upon wickedness.
To prove the point, if the president of the United States were to get on the airwaves tomorrow and say, “The next person to commit murder will get the maximum penalty for their crime, no questions asked,” what do you think would happen in our country? I can guarantee you that murder would drop drastically. Government is to be the force of law, ruling in the positive, by bringing a negative to crime. The whole purpose of government is to maintain peace in the land with righteous judgment. As Romans 13:4 says, the government is to be “a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
If we would simply execute the laws we already have, we do not need to waste time making new ones! And we certainly won’t have to waste our breath glorifying the lawbreakers through the airwaves. Enough is enough!
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:11, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”
In the foundation of our country, men were ruled by principle rather than emotions. Because of that, they were jealous for liberty and loved their country to the point of putting their lives, fortunes and honor on the line. They would speedily bring judgment upon lawlessness because of the high price that was paid to bring us liberty.
Nowadays, anyone who talks about maximum penalties on crime and injustice is accused of being unmerciful and cruel. But if we take a step back and ask the question, “Wait a minute, who broke the law?” Not the judge or the police officer who arrests a criminal; not a preacher who exposes unrighteousness; not a people who are calling for justice to be brought about. No – those are the ones who love. And while justice is being brought about, we pity those who are paying the penalty for their crimes so they can learn the lesson and walk in true peace – within the confines of the law.

What did Witherspoon require of his students? Every student shall attend worship in the college hall morning and evening… (and) shall attend public worship on the Sabbath… (T)here shall be assigned to each class certain exercises for their religious instruction…and no student belonging to any class shall neglect them.
Witherspoon taught: (H)e is the best friend to American liberty who is most sincere and active in promoting true and undefiled religion and who sets himself with the greatest firmness to bear down on profanity and immorality of every kind. Whosoever is an avowed enemy of God, I (hesitate not) to call him an enemy to his country.
Dr. Witherspoon taught that a true friend to liberty and to America would promote religion and bear down on profanity and immorality.

In 1860, 262 of 288 college presidents were Ministers of the Gospel and over 1/3 of faculty were Ministers of the Gospel as well.
An 1890 Survey of State Universities conducted by James Angell (president of University of Vermont and University of Michigan) found the following statistics:
Over 90% had chapel services.
50% had compulsory chapel.
25% required Church attendance.

Hold on you then, dear friends, to the words of Christ even though you do not always understand them. I must also remind you that every word of threatening that Jesus Christ hath spoken, is true. Oh, that we could have seen His face, and heard the very tones of his voice! There must have been an inexpressible sweetness, and an ineffable tenderness, about the speech of Jesus Christ. All those who heard Him speak knew that He loved them: and the publicans and the sinners, the poor off casts, those who were scouted by everybody else, drew near to Him, because they felt that there sympathy towards them in that great heart of His. Yet, did you ever notice—you must have noticed it—that never a man spake such terrible threatenings to the ungodly as this man spake? It was Jesus who spoke of the worm that never dies, and of the fire that shall never be quenched; it was Jesus who spoke of destroying both body and soul in hell; it was He who said many of the most terrible things about future punishment that ever were uttered, such as the parable of the rich man who died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” When you hear men soften down the threatenings of the Scriptures, do not believe that love suggests such a course of action; it is often the proof of true love that it can speak harsh things. If a man comes, and tells you very pleasant things about yourself, BEWARE of him; he is not your friend; but the man who can warn you, who can point out your fault and folly, who can run the risk of losing your esteem by indicating your danger, that is the one who has a sincere affection for you, and a WISE man will choose such a friend as that. Whatever anyone might think or say, there is not a terrible word that fell from the Savior’s lips, which will not be affected by your likes or dislikes. “He that believeth not shall be damned.” You call this a hard saying; it is true, however, or Christ would not have said it. It must have been some sort of mental crucifixion to Him to speak as He did about the terrors of the world to come; and be ye sure that they are not less awful than He described, not less horrible than He depicted them; so, whatever any may say by toning down His threatenings, reject their falsehoods, for Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the words of Christ shall not pass away.
There was once a farmer who had an old donkey. One day he was walking along and heard his donkey crying. As he walked towards the cry of the donkey, he found out that the donkey had fallen into an old well and was trying to get out. The farmer thought to himself, How am I going to get this donkey out of the well?
As he pondered it for a little bit, he began to reason within himself saying, “Well, this donkey is too old anyway. He’s not really worth the time and effort to get him out of the well.” He called over some of his farmer buddies and they began to shovel scoops of dirt and throw it into the well, burying him alive. The donkey panicked at first, knowing what they were trying to do. Suddenly, to the farmers’ amazement, the donkey started to do something different. For every scoop of dirt that they would throw on the donkey’s back, he shook it off, and used it as a step to climb out of the well.
Life is hard. It is an uphill battle. The world today tries to throw a lot of fear, doubt, and oppression our way, but you know what? We must take what the world tries to throw at us and use it as a stepping stone to get out of the hole! The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” He is who He says He is, and if we are in Christ, He is made our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30) through His blood.
There was a man who had to get to a certain destination at a certain time. He was in a snow storm. He came up to a river and thought to himself, How thick is the ice? Will it hold my weight?
It felt solid, and so he reached a little further and tapped again to see if it could hold his weight. He took a branch and smacked the ice to see if it would crack…nothing. So, he crawled across the ice on his stomach. Sweat began to fall down his brow, and he began to tremble with fear as he realized that at any moment he could go to an icy grave. He took the stick with him and continued to tap the ice in front of him as he crawled on his stomach.
The man went about forty feet in about forty-five minutes. He was absolutely terrified. As he was crawling inch by inch, sweat pouring out of his brow, he heard a strange sound. He heard singing, and then a rumble, rumble. The man looked behind him to see another man with a full cart of coal and his horse in front of him, slamming across the ice, singing at the top of his lungs while he whipped his horse.
The man stood up and felt a fool because the ice was solid right through to the bottom. He felt foolish. The knowledge he received released him from his fear. Don’t crawl across the promises of God on your stomach. They are solid through and through. You can trust Him!
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. — Proverbs 3:5-6
What about drugs? Crystal, crack, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, dust, heroin. Drug use is promoted through music, magazines, Hollywood, the streets, schools, jails, and the list goes on and on…
About 10 years ago, the television program 20/20 aired a review on the transportation of drugs to America. When the reporter spotted a man who was very angry, he asked the man what he was so angry about. The man replied, “You do not know how you get your drugs to America.” He then spouted off things about the American government, and said, “You kill our children! You empty out their body cavities, stuff them full of drugs, put them in a coffin and then send them to America so your people can get high!” These drug traffickers are called, “Cocaine Cowboys.”
About 10 years ago while in Las Vegas, Nevada, I asked a cab driver what would happen if I were to get caught with a small amount of drugs on the strip (where all the casinos are). He said to me, “If you get caught with drugs here, no questions asked, you go straight to jail.” No drug problem on the Las Vegas strip. “Why is that?” I asked. He said, “They do not want to scare off the tourists who are spending billions of dollars at the casinos.” I see, where the laws are enforced, they have no crime!
CNN reported that John P. Walters, President Bush’s top drug advisor, stated on May 15th, 2002, “The government’s anti-drug ads are largely being ignored by teens and find no evidence that the multi-billion dollar campaign is discouraging drug use.” Since when did money stop crime? Regardless of its lack of effectiveness, Walters still wants Congress to maintain the current funding of $180,000,000 while the government spends $18 billion on anti-drug efforts each year.
What about the D.A.R.E. program (the word “dare” means “to provoke”)? You know the motto, “Dare To Say No To Drugs.” Glenn Levant, former D.A.R.E. executive director, states that D.A.R.E. consumes a lot of money…$750,000,000 a year. The program is currently being offered to 80 percent of the school districts in this country. In 2002, the University of Michigan found that marijuana use actually tripled amongst eighth graders who had been through the D.A.R.E. program.
When on vacation in Florida in the fall of 2002, I went to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum. Inside they had a button on a wall that said, “Do Not Push!” Guess what all the kids did when they saw that sign? They ran up and wanted to be the first to push the button.
D.A.R.E.’s message to children is muffled and confusing. It does not tell kids that they must say “no” to drug use; it tells them they have a right to say “no,” implying that they also have a right to say “yes.” Despite the term in its name, “D.A.R.E.” doesn’t teach kids what drug abuse actually is or how it can be identified.
Dr. William Hansen, who helped design the original D.A.R.E. program said, “I think the program should be entirely scrapped and redeveloped anew.” Even after all of these ineffective findings and studies with the D.A.R.E. program, program supporters said, “Cutback is not needed, but an expansion.” Common sense tells you not to put gas inside a car that doesn’t work.
If you go to the D.A.R.E. program website (www.dare.com), you can click on any drug and find out its street name, where it comes from, what it looks like, and how to use it. Why would you show your kids how to use these drugs? The D.A.R.E. program is like a man leading a horse to water.
Drugs are illegal, but what message is being sent to the youth when Iowa state laws mandate that, “It is a violation of the law to sell or distribute drugs or narcotics without having first obtained the appropriate Iowa drug tax stamp”?
While doing an assembly event, I asked the kids, “What do you think the D.A.R.E. program is aimed at?” They shouted back, “To get us hooked on drugs!” At the beginning of every assembly I do I ask the question, “No matter how many times I tell you not to do something, what do you want to do?” They shout back, “Do what you told us not to do!”
If that doesn’t speak for itself, I don’t know what does!
On March 21, 2005 we witnessed the worst school shooting since Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. It took place at Red Lake High School in Red Lake, Minnesota. Jeff Weise, a 16-year-old kid, killed nine people and then himself. The question always arises: Why? What leads a teenaged boy to do such horrible things? The answer is right under our noses!
When you look at similar high profile crimes that are committed in this country, you will see that many of the perpetrators are taking antidepressants. For example, Eric Harris, 18, shot 12 fellow students and a teacher at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. He had been taking Luvox, a psychiatric drug similar to Prozac. In 1998, Kip Kinkel, 14, killed his parents before going on a shooting spree at his high school in Springfield, Oregon, killing two and injuring 25. He had quit taking Prozac just before the shooting, causing his emotional rage to increase.
Sky Grant, Jeff Weise’s friend, said Jeff was also taking Prozac. Grant said, “Everybody changes when they start taking antidepressants. He (Jeff) was a lot more quiet. I wouldn’t say any better.” How true it is. They don’t work but cause more damage!
Mark Taylor said it best when he testified before the FDA:
I am a victim of the SSRI antidepressant era. I took six to thirteen bullets in the heart area in the Columbine High School shooting when Eric Harris on Luvox opened fire that now infamous day.
They almost had to amputate my leg and my arm. My heart missed by only one millimeter. I had three surgeries. Five years later I am still recuperating.
I went through all this to realize that SSRI antidepressants are dangerous for those who take them and for all those who associate with those who take them.
I hope that my testimony today shows you that you need to take action immediately before more innocent people like me, and you, do not get hurt or die horrible deaths as a result.
As Americans we should have the right to feel safe and if you were doing your job we would be safe. Why are we worrying about terrorists in other countries when the pharmaceutical companies have proven to be our biggest terrorists by releasing these drugs on an unsuspecting public?
How are we suppose to feel safe at school, at home, on the street, at church or anywhere else if we cannot trust the FDA to do what we are paying you to do? Where were you when I and all of my classmates got shot at Columbine?
You say that antidepressants are effective. So why did they not help Eric Harris before he shot me?
According to Eric they “helped” him to feel homicidal and suicidal after only six weeks on Zoloft. And then he said that dropping off Luvox cold turkey would help him “fuel the rage” he needed to shoot everyone. But he continued on Luvox and shot us all anyway.
So, why did these so called antidepressants not make him better? I will tell you why. It is because they do not work!
We should consider antidepressants to be accomplices to murder!
On September 14, 2004 the FDA linked SSRIs to suicide in kids and has issued black box warnings on ALL antidepressant medications for children. That’s great but it’s only a baby step. The doctors who prescribe these antidepressants are presumed to be trusted to look out for the best interest of our children. If a doctor tells a parent to put their kid on an antidepressant and there’s a warning on it, who do you think the parent will listen to? The doctor, of course. It’s almost as if the FDA is trying to silence the people by giving them a little warning box. Why don’t medical professionals stop prescribing them completely? They know how dangerous these drugs are and they still give them to people. I bet they would stop making them available if something tragic like this happened to their kid.
The fact is, doctors hand them out like candy and are making a lot of money. Author and social theorist Jean Kilbourne, Ed.D. said, “No matter what you’re selling, the heavy user is your best customer. Whenever someone recovers, someone loses money, whether it’s the drug dealer on the street or the pusher in the boardroom.”
In April 2004, Express Scripts Inc., which keeps stats on drug use, said preschool children’s use of antidepressants nearly doubled between 1998 and 2002, the fastest growth among any age group! That’s right, preschool kids. You see, if you can convince the parents and kids that they need these drugs, you have a client for life. To them, money is more important than our kids and it’s time we hold them accountable. Enough is enough!

Why is everything happening recently taking place? Psalm 9:16-17 says, “The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth…The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” It is plain to see that the judgments of God are upon our country (see Deuteronomy 28; 14 blessings and 54 curses), and that He is walking contrary to us because we are walking contrary to Him.
Amos 3:3 asks the question, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” The answer is, NO! Imagine a father who has a son who will not listen to him even though he has given his son everything. Will he continue to bless him? No, he will discipline him to bring about change because he loves his son. “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent” (Revelation 3:19). God is chastening our nation to bring us to our knees before Him! That we may “Come and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up” (Hosea 6:1).
God has given us everything: the life we live, family, food, friends, the air we breathe, the country we live in, and most importantly His Son, who paid the penalty for our sins. Christ is, and must be, the foundation of every blessing our society can hope to enjoy. Little as you might think it, Christ has everything to do with our liberty, our happiness, and our comfort. America would not be what it is today if it had not been for Christ; and in that hour when America forsakes her God, her glory will be lost and she will have lost her true liberty and defense. We are on the verge of that very hour even as we speak.
In our prosperity, we have turned against the very One who gave us these things, and we will be destroyed unless we turn from our wicked ways. You might ask, “What can I do? I’m only one person.” The fact of the matter is, it’s your sin that has offended God and “…the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience…” (Colossians 3:6). Unless you repent before God and flee to Christ first, you will not be able to do anything to stop the wrath of God upon you and this country. God promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” You have to realize that you will give an account before God for your actions and “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31).
It’s time for everyone in this country to return to God and engage in His battles to take back the land that was entrusted to us. Remember this—in the day when the Gospel shall be silenced, when our ministers cease to preach, and when the Bible shall be chained; in that day—God forbid it should ever come to pass—in that day, America may write herself among the dead, for she has fallen, since God has forsaken her, seeing she has cast off her allegiance to Him.
Christian men and women, in this fight for right you are fighting for your nation, for your liberties, your happiness, and your peace; for unless Christ and His commandments are maintained, these will most certainly be destroyed. If you refuse to do your duty before God, and shun your responsibility by not returning to Him and refuse to stand for His truth, “Prepare to meet thy God!” It says in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, “…the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power…”
It’s time to turn back to the One who gave us this blessed nation. Bless God America, for He has already blessed us! The ball is in our court now…
The Second Amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being NECESSARY to the SECURITY of a FREE State, the RIGHT of the People to KEEP and BEAR arms, shall NOT be infringed.” (emphasis added) If “infringed” means “broken,” the “infringer” would mean the “one who violates” or “a violator.” In other words, this amendment has been violated. It has been under attack to a much greater degree since the time George W. Bush took office. After seeing Dr. Kent Hovind’s presentation on the gun control issues in this nation, I have a totally different outlook on what now needs to be left alone—the Second Amendment. It is unconstitutional to change that which was established for the freedom of the American people. I think you’ll agree from this perspective. This has been tainted from the propaganda pushed through the media. George Mason, who has been called the “Father of the Bill of Rights,” said in a speech on June 14th, 1788, “To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” James Burgh, an English politician once said:
No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion.
The purpose of this Amendment is not so we can go duck hunting. It is so we can protect ourselves and our families from criminals and from our own government if need be! Unlike other mammals, humans are not born with physical defenses. Many animals that eat grass, for example, have big horns. They don’t want to hurt anyone, they just want to eat the grass and be left alone. What if the lions had gotten together and held a conference to outlaw horns on animals? In their minds, it was dangerous to allow these untrained animals to have such dangerous weapons and they cited several examples where animals had been accidentally harmed by horns. But what they neglected to consider, is that God gave horns to these animals to protect themselves. The liberal media always seems to miss the point. When kids were killed at the Columbine school shooting outside Denver, newspapers all over the country jumped on the gun control issue. Blaming guns for Columbine is like blaming spoons for Rosie O’Donnell being fat! “Gun registration is not enough,” said Attorney General Janet Reno on December 10th, 1993 (Associated Press). She also said, “Waiting periods are only a step. Registration is only a step. The prohibition of private firearms is the goal.”
Former Ohio Senator, Howard Metzenbaum stated, “What good does it do to ban some guns? All guns should be banned.”
“Our task of creating a totally Socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist have been totally disarmed.” —Sarah Brady, Chairman, Handgun Control Inc. The National Educator, January 1994, p. 3
President Bill Clinton said, “And we should then—every community in the country—could then start doing major weapon sweeps and then destroying the weapons, not selling them.”

In 1996, the Australian government forced the country’s gun owners to surrender 640,381 personal firearms, which were subsequently destroyed (costing the government more than $500 million). In the first 12 months: ♠ Homicides increased 3.2 percent ♠ Assaults increased 8.6 percent ♠ Armed robberies increased 44 percent ♠ In the state of Victoria, homicides with firearms increased 300 percent (Source: Bob Worn, Major-USAF Retired) “In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.”
“In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.”
“Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.”
“China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.”

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, ask them, “Who do YOU want to round up and exterminate?” With guns, we are citizens. Without them, we are subjects.
In 1982, the town of Kennesaw, Georgia passed a law requiring all able adults (except convicts or CO’s) to have a gun. They have had only one murder (from an out of state criminal with a gun) and have had no increase in crime or violence in 12 years. — Final Warning, Grant R. Jeffrey, 1995, p. 205
What the Media Hasn’t Mentioned
According to Federal Statute Title 10, Chapter 13, Section 311 (a) all males between the ages of 17 and 45 who are either citizens of the United States or have declared their intent to become citizens are members of the “unorganized” or reserve militia. A militia consists of ordinary citizens who keep their own arms. The state of Vermont has a genuine right to carry law (i.e. no permits required) and boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. Since 1995, over 42,405 concealed carry permits (permits are unnecessary because we already have the right to bear arms) have been issued to Utah residents. None has been revoked for any sort of firearms violence related reason.
The RIGHT of the People to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, SHALL NOT BE VIOLATED, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath of affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized (emphasis added). — Second Amendment, U.S. Constitution
The RIGHTS guaranteed by this Amendment have been violated to the max. The American people are supposed to be innocent before they are proven guilty, but now you get to go through airport security as a suspected terrorist and be subject to frisking (searched as a criminal). Not to mention that your baggage is being opened and searched inside and out. In a majority of the screenings, you are pulled off to the side, take off a portion of your clothing, and a wand is waved over you. I watched a woman with a smile on her face as she was being felt up and down around her breast area. I also watched an old man who could not walk being forced out of his wheelchair and then made to stand up. Sounds all too familiar? When going through Israel’s Holocaust Memorial, Yad Vashem, as well as the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C., I noticed that what is taking place in the United States is exactly, line for line, what Hitler did before his takeover of the Jews (random police searches and seizures without reasonable cause). All in the name of their supposed freedom fight. It is also interesting to note that Hitler attacked his own country, destroying the Reichstag building to start World War II, which overthrew the established German government. It is also interesting to note that the German government has compared George W. Bush to Hitler. Do your homework. Do an Internet search for “Project Paperclip” and see how German war criminals were brought over to the United States to do human experiments. After the Reichstag burning, Hitler passed a billed called the Enabling Act which gave him complete authority to make all decisions, just like Bush’s Patriot Act following 9/11. Someone once said, “Those that do not know their rights, do not have any rights.” Know your constitutional rights. If you do not want to listen to God’s Ten Commandments, then you will listen to man’s 10,000!
Education or Agenda Advancement?
If you were to truly explore current events as well as public opinion, you would find that an overwhelming number of American citizens stand opposed to such issues as abortion, gay rights, gun control, and evolution being taught as scientific fact in public schools and museums all over the country. Why does the fact that men like Hitler used the philosophy of evolution to justify their genocidal atrocities raise no eyebrows? Why do six pro-choice demonstrators marching up and down a stretch of sidewalk for 30 minutes merit national news coverage, but a group of 100,000 pro-life protesters lined up in Washington, D.C. can scarcely gain the attention of the national media? Why does the media seem so intent on convincing the American people that guns are bad, and that in order to be safe we need to disarm our civilians—despite the widespread success of concealed carry legislation in several states over the past few years? Why would we disarm the American people if we are in the middle of a terrorist threat? Is disarming potential terrorist targets an intelligent plan? It just doesn’t make any sense. Don’t we realize that people like drug dealers and gang members don’t apply for permits, and don’t buy their guns from licensed dealers? They buy them from other criminals and their weapons don’t have serial numbers. Gun control legislation will never affect criminals because criminals will always have guns. The only people that such legislation will successfully disarm are law-abiding citizens who would never dream of using their guns to commit crimes—they would only use them to protect their own lives and the lives of their families. Will you join the fight or stay on the bench?

Max Jukes, an atheist, lived a godless life. He married an ungodly girl, and from their union there were 310 who died as paupers, 150 criminals, 7 murderers, 100 drunkards, and more than half of the women were prostitutes! His 567 descendants cost the state one and a quarter million dollars (please keep in mind that this was a LOT of money in the 1700’s).
But, praise God, it works both ways! There was also a great American man of God named Jonathan Edwards. He lived at the same times as Max Jukes, but he married a godly girl. An investigation was made of 1,394 known descendants of Jonathan Edwards of which 13 became college presidents, 65 college professors, 3 United States senators, 30 judges, 100 lawyers, 60 physicians, 75 army and navy officers, 100 preachers and missionaries, 60 authors of prominence, one vice president of the United States, 80 became public officials in various capacities, and 295 college graduates, among whom were governors of states and ministers to foreign countries. Jonathan Edwards’ descendants did not cost the state a single penny.

The following is an analogy I heard about 10 years ago. I thought it made a great point and wanted to share it with you, the reader!
Two women from Southern California were about to cross the Mexican border to return to the U.S. when they saw what looked like a very small, sick animal in the ditch beside their car. As they examined it, it looked like a Chihuahua, and then and there they decided to take it home with them. Because they were afraid they were breaking the law, they put the dog in the trunk of their car and drove across the border. Once safely on American soil, they retrieved the animal and nursed it until they arrived home.
One of the women was so concerned about the ailing dog that she took it into bed with her and reached out at different intervals during the night to touch the tiny animal and reassure it that she was still present.
The dog was so sick the next morning that she decided to take it to the veterinarian. That is when she found out that the animal wasn’t a tiny, sick dog. It was a Mexican water rat dying of rabies.
The world, in the blackness of its ignorance, thinks sin is like a puppy to be played with. It is the light of God’s Law that awakens the sinner to the fact that he or she is in bed with a deadly rat. “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 16:25).
The American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from its diagnostic list of mental disorders in 1973, despite substantial protest (see Socarides, 1995). How convenient! But how destructive. It is important to take note of the “liberty” that the homosexuals now say they walk in, which in truth is really bondage. This perversion (the act of perverting; a turning from truth or propriety; a diverting from the true intent or object; change to something worse; the man acts like the woman and the woman acts like the man – Webster’s 1828) is dealt with in a most severe manner.
Read on: Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Line upon line and precept upon precept.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen (so be it). For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. (parentheses added)

Then these homosexuals have the audacity to call the preaching of God’s Law, “hate crimes.” This will only last with the people as long as it is tolerated! If not, God will deal with it in a way man wished he had dealt with it.
On Judgment Day, the truth will be all cleared up. Apparently they weren’t listening to God’s warning when He said in 2 Peter 2:6, “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly”.
(All the way up until 1961, homosexual acts were illegal in every state. They still are in some states. Most studies reveal that less than 3 percent of the American population is gay.)
It is interesting to note how the homosexual community takes on the rainbow for its symbol and its meaning of peace with God. This is nothing new. Satan often attempts to pervert the meaning of God’s word and truth through perverted people. Here is another example. God destroyed the world through judgment because as it says in Genesis 6:5: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
The Lord saw fit to warn the people two different times, in Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13, against the abominable act of homosexuality (rightly called “crimes against nature”). The very reason judgment was brought against the earth was because of these abominations before God. But instead of taking heed to why God brought the judgment, the homosexuals overlook it and then pervert God’s very meaning.
And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Those who attempt to play the devil’s advocate with God’s true intention better understand that next time He is judging the world by fire, not water (2 Peter 3:12).
There was once a diplomatic soldier during the civil war who wanted to please both the Yankees and the Confederates, so he decided to wear a Union Shirt and Confederate Pants for his uniform.
He then walked out onto the battlefield, thinking both sides would accept him. He was dreadfully mistaken, as he was shot to death by both the North and South.
Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
God also said to the Laodicean Church, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”.
There is one Name under heaven whereby men must be saved, that being Jesus Christ. We are to serve Christ, and Him alone. We cannot walk both sides of the fence, for God Himself says He will not accept a hypocrite; and rightfully so, because He paid a high price for our redemption.
We were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ; therefore, let us give Him the love, obedience, and honor that He is worthy of receiving!
Many are aware of the fact that when Christ was going to be crucified, the women of Jerusalem were weeping for Him. He said to them, “But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us” (Luke 23:28-30).
Below is a history taken from Foxes Book of Martyrs of what Jesus Christ was telling them would happen after they crucified the Lord of glory:
Herod Antipas and Herodias were responsible for the imprisonment and execution of John the Baptist, and Herod himself attempted to plot the death of Christ. In the summer of AD 39, Antipas’ money and territory were turned over to Agrippa, while he and his wife were exiled, and Antipas died miserably.
Pontius Pilate handed Christ to the Jews to be scourged and crucified. Pilate fell under misfortunes in the reign of Caligula (AD 37–41), was exiled to Gaul and eventually committed suicide there in Vienne.
The Jews, who heard and rejected Christ, were destroyed by Titus, and Vespasian his father, in 70 AD, about 40 years after the passion of the Christ, to the number of eleven hundred thousand, beside those who Vespasian slew in the subduing of Galilee. Seventeen thousand were sold and sent into Egypt and other provinces to vile slavery; and two thousand were brought with Titus in his triumph; of whom, part he gave to be devoured of the wild beasts, part otherwise most cruelly were slain.
The vain senate of Rome, after being proposed to have Christ adored as God, rejected Him. Being content to have the emperor reign over them rather than the meek King of glory, the Son of God, they were scourged and trapped for their unjust refusing. For, as they preferred the emperor, and rejected Christ, so the just permission of God stirred up their own emperors against them in such sort, that the senators themselves were almost destroyed, and the whole city most horribly afflicted for the space of almost 300 years.
Did you know that there are at least 100,000 alcohol related deaths each year? I am sure you are also aware that people label alcoholism as a “disease” or a “sickness.” You know, people must have hands that can’t help but put the bottle to their mouths and intoxicate their bodies! They also can’t help the fact that their unruly and irresponsible behavior is harmful to those around them.
When did this bad CHOICE become labeled as a disease? More importantly, why was it labeled this way? The following quote is by Bill Sardi with Knowledge of Health:
“Alcoholism is not a disease and efforts to classify alcoholism only serve as an escape from personal responsibility when consuming potentially addictive substances. Let it be said that the designation of alcoholism as a disease came into vogue at a time when therapists were attempting to gain access to insurance reimbursement for treatment of this behavior. Therefore, most experts declared alcohol abuse as a disease in a self-serving manner to obtain fees for treatment. There was no scientific revelation that brought about a definition of alcoholism as a disease.”
I get it, the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10)!
“Who are you to judge me?” This is the usual slap in the face 86 percent of professing Christians in this country will say in response when you tell them of their offense before God. They forget that God is the:
* one who sees all things naked and opened before His eyes (Hebrews 4:13).
* one who has numbered the very hairs of their heads (Luke 12:7).
* one who will not allow a sparrow to fall to the ground without His notice (Matthew 10:29). “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs15:3).
* one who will require us to account for ourselves before Him (Romans 14:12), as well as give an account of every idle word we have spoken (Matthew 12:36).
He concluded all with saying:
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing whether it be good, or whether it be evil. — Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
I am often humored by people who say, “Don’t judge me!” Do you say that when a cop pulls you over for breaking the law? Probably not. Isn’t it amazing that people are subject to natural laws and are afraid to break them, but when they are confronted for breaking God’s Holy Law they think less of the violation? Some people will even say, “Why all the fear? You’re just trying to scare me!” I have to respond with, “No, I am not. I am trying to warn you before it is too late.”
Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you lusted after a man or woman? Jesus said that even if you look at a man or woman to lust after them that you have already committed adultery with that person in your heart!
If you answered “yes” to any of these crimes against God, then by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart! I’m not judging you; your actions, which violate the Laws of God, judge you. It’s interesting to note that the Spirit of God warns of hell 54 times from Genesis to Revelation.
How many laws do you need to break before the natural law comes down on you? Only one! In James 2:10-11 it says, “Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For He that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.” In other words, you’re busted!
So, next time someone warns you of the “wrath to come” like John the Baptist did in Matthew 3:7, know that it is “the love of Christ” that “constraineth us” (2 Corinthians 5:14). Why? Because, “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men…” (2 Corinthians 5:11). To sum it all up, we speak the truth because we love!
You will hear many of our nation’s leaders call us a Democracy these days, on both sides of the aisle. As a matter of fact, when you ask people by and large what we as a nation are (a Republic or a Democracy), they will answer “A Democracy.” Fortunately, the answer can be found in our nation’s pledge of allegiance: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, indivisible, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for all.
If we were a Democracy, our pledge would go as follows:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of whatever the people want, and to the DEMOCRACY for which it FALLS, one nation under a DICTATORSHIP, with BONDAGE and INJUSTICE for whosoever believes we are a democracy.
As a matter of fact, our military training manuals used to contain the correct definitions of Democracy and Republic. The following comes from Training Manual No. 2000-25 published by the War Department, November 30, 1928.
DEMOCRACY: • A government of the masses. • Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of “direct” expression. • Results in mobocracy. • Attitude toward property is communistic–negating property rights. • Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether is be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. • Results in demogogism, license, agitation, discontent, anarchy.
REPUBLIC: • Authority is derived through the election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them. • Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences. • A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass. • Avoids the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy. • Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress. • Is the “standard form” of government throughout the world.
