First, I would remind every American that our rights come from God (Read the Declaration of Independence and the Minnesota state preamble and look to Moses and the Ten Commandments above the Minnesota Supreme Court chambers) and not from the state’s generosity.

Secondly, those who represent “We the People” “derive their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

In other words, our representative “limited government” can do what is permitted only by the people (under God) through delegated authority, and they are to represent the people according to His Law (Exodus 20).

“The people’s safety is the Law of God.” -James Otis Jr.

This quote is also inscribed upon the walls of the State Capitol in Minnesota.

Remember that they put their hand on the Bible, swearing to uphold the enumerated laws found within, “So help me God.”

So, I ask, where are these that are now occupying the halls of the state capital deriving their delegated authority to attack their constituents and their God-given rights?

Friends, your said representatives are acting antithetical to our rights, for the Lord never gave the right to do what He forbids or condemns!

What’s worse is that the “good guys” have now taken on their duties to merely highlight the crimes of those whom they refuse to impeach and prosecute (Article II, Section 4; Article I, Section 3, Clause 7 US Constitution).

Furthermore, as Daniel O’Connell rightly stated, “Nothing is politically right which is morally wrong.”  A lot of this is going on today.

It is now time to lay the burden of proof on the said representatives in asking where they are deriving their authority from because one thing is certain, it is not from “We the People.”

Not too long ago, I took the time to get acquainted with the local law enforcement as to what’s been happening locally within the county.

I asked this person what his take was concerning the fruit of the church (Matthew 7:16–20), and in response, he said that they were great.  I then asked what was being taught in the public schools locally.  To this question, he just looked at me.  So, I proceeded to answer my own question.

I told him that they are indoctrinating the children with an abortion agenda (Proverbs 6:17), evolution, and the homosexual agenda, and the history books are being changed every 3 to 5 years.  The young people are literally being subjected to everything and protected from nothing.  This is how good of a job that churches are doing.  Culture is the church’s report card.

As a matter of fact, the young people are asking the question as to where the love is that the church overseers talk so much about.

George Barna, from the Barna research group, found that after surveying the said pastors from across the country as to why they were not preaching against the sins of the nation, what he found was that when he asked the pastors about all the key issues of the day, 90% of them told him that, yes, the Bible speaks to every one of these issues. Then they were asked if they were teaching their people what the Bible says about those issues – And the numbers drop… to less than 10% of pastors who say they will speak to it.

When researchers asked those pastors what else they are willing to do to get their people active in their political process, Barna said, it’s almost nothing.

“So, the thing that struck me has been that when we talk about the separation of church and state (there is no such thing found within any American founding documents), it’s that churches have separated themselves from the activities of the state—and that’s to the detriment of the state and its people,” stated the researcher.

Why the disconnect? According to Barna, the answer is simple.  He suggests asking pastors how someone would know if their church is successful—which he did.

“There are five factors that the vast majority of pastors turn to (when asked that question),” he explained.

He found that the number one reason was that they cared more about attendance, and the number two reason was their offerings.

The rest of their top priorities were the number of programs they had in place, staff, and, believe it or not, the square footage of what they call their churches.

“Now all of those things are good measures, except for one tiny fact: Jesus didn’t die for any of them,” Barna continued. “What I am suggesting is (those pastors) won’t probably get involved with politics because it is very controversial. Controversy keeps people from being in the seats, controversy keeps people from giving money, from attending programs. As they look at things, their tendency is to say, well, that’s not my part of my mission; My mission is to bring in more people and to get them to understand certain things that I feel that they should know.”

Barna also thinks it has something to do with the training of pastors.

“When you look at what they get in Bible school or in the seminary, they are not taught to get people engaged in these particular issues,” he shared. “They are taught just to exegete (exposition; explanation; interpretation) scriptures; they are taught something about the history of where those scriptures came from—but they are not prepared.”

The prince of preachers, Charles Spurgeon, said, “A church that does not exist to reclaim heathenism, to fight evil, to destroy air, to put down falsehood, a church that does not exist to take the side of the poor, to denounce injustice, and to hold up righteousness, is a church that has no right to be. Not for yourself, oh church, do you exist any more than Christ existed for Himself?”

So, in conclusion, I ask you, what is your church doing to combat the evils of today?  Pastors, are you taking a stand in preaching the uncompromising truth from the word of God (though controversial it may be) that slays sin and upholds righteousness?  If not, then you need to repent!  You are not called to people-please or to compromise; you are called to be a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.

There was no reason that a conspiratorial group or agency (Warren Commission – The Fox in the chicken coop, Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, etc.) had to scurry like a bunch of insidious murderers behind the use of a patsy (Lee Harvey Oswald).  This was all (and still is) being done with the use of the media propaganda machine today in reminding the people of who they have declared the guilty to be.  All of this, mind you, is in complete disregard and contradiction of the over 200 eyewitnesses who saw the events unfold.

In other words, all eyes are on the patsy that they had pinned.

“Was John Calvin crucified for you? How about John Wesley, John Knox, or Martin Luther? Then why the contentions?”

When you look at Godly men such as John Calvin (Calvinism-Presbyterians), John Wesley (Wesleyans), John Smyth (Baptists), Martin Luther (Lutherans), etc. do you think that within themselves that these men wanted a denomination that would take up their names? Absolutely not!

These men were magnifying the revelations given unto them by the Spirit of God, concerning their calls (Ephesians 4 :11), and as they continued to follow Christ, the One name under Heaven, whereby men might be saved (John 14:6; Acts 4:12!) carnal men failed to understand. They, in their carnalities, began to follow the men rather than the Christ that was crucified on their behalf that these men were preaching. What could be the result, you got it, division and contentions! Read 1 Corinthians 3:1-3.

No wonder we have over 45,000 denominations around the world and why, because man had failed to understand that Christ and Christ alone is He who was crucified for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2), not their favorite preachers.

Scripture tells us,

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.” – 1 Corinthians 1:10-16

In fact, if your favorite preachers truly follow Christ, he is not going to want you following him in the sense of contending over who gets the credit for their salvation.  That is, not if they are faithfully preaching Christ crucified and Him alone (1 Corinthians 1:23-30).

Let’s end this short exposition by going over to Ephesians 4:3-7 and see what it says to us.

“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

Just recently, I saw another popular preacher, who drives the same false gospel as the others driving the same leavened narrative (Mark 8:15; Galatians 1:8), talking about the love of God.

Love seems to be the popular message of many of these 1960s hippie hirelings occupying the pulpits in America today (John 10:12).  What’s worse is that they know nothing of the love of God (Psalm 78:9).  After all, holding God’s love that has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5), who has been given unto us, hates what He hates and loves what He loves (Psalm 97:10; Romans 12:9).

Furthermore, that love of God fulfills His Law, the Law that these despise (Amos 2:4).

“To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” -Isaiah 8:20

Just look to their fruit, the lawless society that they have raised up over the last 65 years, and they’re still tolerated among those who sit in their pews.

How contrary to the preachers who were so used by the Lord to establish the very foundations of this country, which are quickly being effaced.  Only if the congregants would look to those who have gone before them, they would then clearly see the truth of what is being written here (Hebrews 13:7).

Thomas Brooks (1608-1680) was one such example.

I would that the reader take note of the love in which he wrote, and consider it in contrast to what you see in the present (Jeremiah 6:16).

If God shall teach thee by afflictions to get assurance of a better life and to be still in a gracious readiness and preparedness for the day of thy death thy afflictions are in love.

Where God loves He afflicts.

In love and wherever God afflicts in love, there He will first and last teach such souls such lessons as shall do them good to all eternity.

Hast thou a special presence of God with thy spirit strengthening of that stilling of that satisfying of that cheering and comforting of that in the multitude of my thoughts that is of my troubled intricate and snared intertwined and perplexed thoughts as the branches of a tree by some strong wind are twisted one within another as the Hebrew word properly signifies thy comforts delight my soul here is a presence of God with his soul here our comforts and delights that reach the soul here is a cordial to strengthen the spirits.”

What is it that people do not hear, or what is it that the people do not see (Jeremiah 5:21)?

In vs. 43 The Lord warned that “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low…”

In vs. 49-51 He said, “The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.”

He also warned that our enemies would “besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.”

Therefore, why is this happening?  It is not difficult to understand.  Go back to Deuteronomy 28:15, the verse that proceeds the outcome of disobedience towards the Lord, “It shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.”

What is taking place today is clearly happening not just in the West but all over the world simultaneously.

However, what are you being told by the media that 94% of you say that you don’t believe? You are being told that they are contributing to society, that they are the victims of corrupt government regimes, genocides, war, etc.  In some cases, this may be true.  Yet, let me propose statistically who I am addressing here. Does this sound like those who are victims that are seeking asylum? Are they contributing to society?

Really? Let’s look at Muslims from the east who are plundering countries that they are entering.

o Denmark: 450% more crimes committed by Muslims than non-Muslims.

o Germany: Muslim migrants committed 142, 500 crimes in 6 months. This is 780 every day.

o Sweden: 480,000 sexual assaults in one year. 77% of all rapes by less than 2% Muslim.

o England and Wales: Over 56% of Syrian refugees committed severe crimes in less than 1 year etc.

o Belgium: 35% of the prison population is Muslim who make up only 6% of the population.

o UK: Muslims fill 44% of high-security prisons, out of a 5% population.

o USA: 91.4 % of Muslim refugees are on food stamps, and 68.3 % are on cash welfare.

Muslim migration has doubled in the decade since 9/11 and 60% of migrants to America favor Sharia law (Deuteronomy 28:15-68).

All that one must do is look to Germany, Sweden, France, or the U.K. to see what is happening concerning the Muslim invasions and overthrow of these countries.  Again, these Muslims are not coming into these countries to assimilate.  Rather. they are there to conquer (Just ask them), and it is exactly what they are doing (Matthew 7:16).  This is happening incrementally and scripturally; it is called a siege.

In general, it is the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power.

Today, Americans are being driven to their television sets by spin doctors to watch the illegals that have invaded their land.  What is being highlighted by the networks are the crimes being committed: murdering American police officers, rape, drug and child trafficking, carjackings, targeting malls in cities throughout the country, and the list of crimes goes on (Deuteronomy 4:6).

Then, only adding insult to the crimes they are responsible for committing, they cry out in front of the cameras, begging not to be sent back to the country from which they came.  This, of course, they do with their country’s flag in their hands waving above their heads back and forth.

So, in other words, they came here illegally to conquer this country (Deuteronomy 28:43).

Yet, with all of this, the networks are distracting and not highlighting the fact that it has been the American politicians, in both federal and state positions, who have treasonously enticed these illegals into America (Luke 22:48).

They have enticed them with $5 to $10,000 credit cards, cell phones, homes, cars, planes, and bus tickets to their desired destinations.  This is all factual information, friends.  They are even letting them vote.

These said representatives have clearly committed the act of treason against the very people they are to serve, namely, you and me!

When we look at Article III, Section 3 of the US Constitution, we read:

Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

These treasonous criminals have become so emboldened that many of them have now stated that they will stand in the way of deporting the illegals that they have allured into America.

According to 8 US Code 1324 Bringing in and harboring certain aliens.

When a crime has been committed by an illegal, the said representative who allured them in is to be personally held accountable for the crime committed by the illegals.

Unless the American people learn the lesson, and quickly, that our representatives are NOT above the Law and that they are to be held accountable for the smallest of crimes by “We the People” through the impeachment process, and prosecuted when impeached, in teaching them the consequences (Proverbs 16:6; 21:7), all will be lost!

If people would pay attention to the things that they have been indoctrinated into believing more often than not, they would question what they are being told.

Dr. Benjamin Rush’s resolve to those who choose to drink themselves into oblivion is “Abstention.”

According to Webster’s 1828 Dictionary, abstention means “to forbear, or refrain from, voluntarily; but used chiefly to denote a restraint upon the passions or appetites; to refrain from indulgence.”

How many times have you heard people say, “I am just a poor sinner (one who chooses to transgress God’s Laws; 1 John 3:4) saved by grace”?

What these are saying here, friends, is that Christ is a minister of sin by using His grace as an occasion for the flesh (Galatians 5:13).  This is unscriptural.

He not only “did no sin” (1 Peter 2:22), but He “knew no sin” (2 Cor. 5:21).  Jesus does not impart sin; He delivers His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).  This is where you find glory in His grace (Ephesians 1:6; 2 Peter 3:18).  He is glorified in deliverance, not man’s excuses.

Again, Christ is the giver of life and righteousness and the One who delivers people from sin (Ephesians 1:7), death, and law (Galatians 3:13).

Let me scripturally enlighten you in highlighting grace that overcomes sin.  This applies to those who have repented of their sins (2 Corinthians 7:10-11).  These are those who understand His grace when He said, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11).

“But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” – Romans 5:20

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” – Romans 8:37

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” -James 1:12-15.

The apostle Paul, inspired writer of 2/3 of the New Testament, said of himself, “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway” (1 Corinthians 9:27).

In other words, Paul was saying, “I practice what I preach”.  He was empowered by the grace that overcomes.
Nowhere can you find in Scripture where it teaches that grace is a covering for wilful sin.

Grace does not grant permission to live in the flesh.  Rather, it supplies power to live in the spirit by its very definition.

In conclusion, throughout my Christian walk, namely in churches, when hearing someone stand up and give a testimony about how “Jesus saved them,” I have noticed that out of the 20 or 25 minutes that they are “testifying,”  a majority of the time that they were speaking that they were highlighting how bad they were with a little of Jesus sprinkled here and there.

Before you know it, the same ones giving their testimonies of how bad they were, were the first ones to go back to their sins (Proverbs 26:11).

A person who is saved from their sins understands that it is not how bad of a sinner they were, but how good of a Savior Christ is in saving His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).  This is how He is glorified!

Fourthly, where did the American people, under God, ever delegate authority to their representatives to murder children? There is none.  The American people will be recompensed for what they tolerate when it comes to the shedding of innocent blood, no doubt (2 Kings 24:4).

There is no authority whatsoever found in any founding document to do so.

So, what is Franklin talking about?  It comes back to the old saying, that if you get people asking the wrong questions, you do not have to worry about giving them the right answers.  And so, it is.

When an individual poses wearing government-sanctioned medals, uniforms, or decorations that they are not entitled to wear, they degrade the honor and sacrifices of those rightly wearing the uniform.  How much more concerning is it that those who are not genuine Christians claim to be so?

This past Sunday, I found myself highlighting the righteousness of Christ, where we are to find ourselves in His righteousness and His merit (His blood), and His righteousness alone (Jeremiah 23:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:9).

As I was preaching (I listen first to what I preach – Isaiah 3:20; John 16:13; Romans 8:14), I caught myself talking about those who claim to be Christ’s, yet bear fruit to the devil (1 John 3:7-8) and how it is that they claim to be what Christ condemns by feigning themselves to be what they are not! In the process, I found the parallel between genuine Christians, which are those who are washed in the blood of Christ from their sins, have the testimonies of Christ, and have entered into the Kingdom of Heaven through the trials and tribulations that they have endured for His name’s sake, and the counterfeit Christians (Matthew 7:21-24;1 John 2:4).

Then I found myself, in the natural (1 Corinthians 2:14), looking to America’s veterans, which are those who have fought, bled, and died in sacrificing themselves for the freedoms we all enjoy today (1 John 15:13).  In the process, I found the parallel between our genuine (war-torn) veterans and those that falsely claim to be veterans who are guilty of “stolen valor.”

Stolen valor is the act of falsely claiming to have served in the military or received military decorations or medals.

The sufferings and losses (their buddies, their limbs, etc.) endured by them for us all cannot be overemphasized.  I respect and appreciate every one of them so much so that I honor the laws in which they died ratifying with their blood and sacrifice.

Those who are guilty of stealing that valor (stolen valor tarnishes sacrifice) are taking that which does not belong to them by wearing a uniform that they did not earn to wear.  On the other hand, those who take on the name of Christ and fail to live unto Him who died for them (by receiving what He did for them on the cross and receiving His righteousness by faith; 2 Corinthians 5:15), the Captain of our Salvation (Hebrews 2:10), are the worst of men and guilty imposters who claim to represent God Almighty.

Now, with this information disclosed, I have a couple of questions. Are not these people a part of the 90% of the population who claim to not believe the mainstream media (Romans 1:18)?

Who sold to them the pandemic (Micah 6:16)?

Did they not consider the source of who was selling and profiting from the pandemics (John 8:44;10:10)?

I do understand that people on a worldwide scale were being illegally censored by Big Tech, Facebook, YouTube, etc., concerning the doctors and people who were doing their best to warn them.

I have to say that I am not trying to be insensitive, but how is it that this information was overlooked by these people?  Did they not do their own due diligence on such an important decision such as this?  Did they think that government and Big Pharma were looking out for them?  Or were they deceived into thinking that what they were doing was best?

For my part, I have been blowing the trumpet in warning the people for the last 25 years (Ezekiel 33:3).

It begs me to ask the question:  How is it that now that these people have become the victims (though they are the victims of the lies and crimes committed by Big Pharma and the corrupt governments worldwide) when they refused to take heed to the warnings?  How do you help people who refuse to help themselves?  For those who have taken heed and did not go along with the lies and propaganda, they have received the reward that the Lord promised.

Have you ever noticed that those God so used were used in a radical sense to win His purpose on this earth against the wicked?  These were those who would stand up in the face of all odds by wholly trusting the Lord (1 Samuel 17).

He used the weak and the foolish that no flesh should glory in His presence (1 Corinthians 1:29-31).

As Hudson Taylor put it, “All God’s giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on God being with them.”

This is so that Christ may be glorified, and Him alone!

Let’s look at some heroes of the faith, starting with the meekest man (Power under the Lord’s control) who ever lived, Moses.

Look at Moses confronting Pharoah in commanding, on God’s authority, to “let His people go.”  Read Exodus 5:1 and 9:1.  His radical love for the Lord was apparent and on display for all the world to see.  Read 1 Corinthians 2:5.

Look at the corrupt kings that were conquered by Joshua and the children of Israel.  Look at their love and gratitude on display in keeping the commandments of the Lord (John 14:21; 1 John 5:3).  Also, read the whole of Joshua chapter 12.

Look at Gideon conquering the Midianites and their armies in the trust and strength of the Lord.  Read Judges 8:4-28.

We read in Hebrews 11:32-34:

“And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:  “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.  Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”

What of the likes of our American forefathers who coined the slogan, “Resistance to tyrants, is obedience to God”?

What of Martin Luther, Oliver Cromwell, William Wallace and John Knox?

In the face of these heroes of the faith, both past and present, I ask that you put this in contrast to what you see in the American version of Christianity today.

The American professors of today claim that Jesus Christ is their Lord and yet, they submit to the corruptions and wickedness of men.  THAT IS NOT AT ALL WHAT THE MEN/WOMEN IN THE BIBLE DID!

Submitting to men, mind you, that are willfully and purposefully transgressing (overthrowing law-Psalm 94:20) not only the Lord’s Law but also state and federal laws which are predicated on the Torah (5 Books of Moses), advocating for what the Lord that you say that you love condemns; And yet, Jesus is your Lord?

Who is prevailing?

The wicked murder children under the guise of choice.  Read Proverbs 6:17.  All this your Lord condemns.

The wicked kidnap, traffic, and sexually exploit the children.  Read Exodus 21:16 and 1 Timothy 1:10.  All this your Lord condemns!

The wicked advocate sodomy, homosexual ‘marriage’ (Never in the history of mankind has there been any such thing!), and now, they have even devised what they call ‘transgenderism’.  All this your Lord calls an abomination. Again, the God that you claim to be submitted to condemns this.  So, why is it happening?  Read Leviticus 18:22-20:13, Deuteronomy 22:5, Romans 1:26;32.

Remember, if they are not standing against these crimes, they are guilty of them (Numbers 32:23).

Despite God’s Law, the wicked are allowed to steal, kill, and destroy just like their father the devil.  Yet, the American church submits to these high crimes in the face of the God to who they claim to be submitted.  To whom are these professors really submitted?  How then is Jesus their King when they submit to the devil and his minions?

William Booth rightly stated, “We are not sent to minister to a congregation and be content if we keep things going. We are sent to make war…and to stop short of nothing but the subjugation of the world to the sway of the Lord Jesus.”

If Jesus is your Lord, then why are you empowering men to war against the God you claim is your Lord?  Read Micah 3:5.

Conclusion: Christians have changed their passion for Christ by letting the world stand in its will in contrast to the Lord’s will.

Look at the bloodshed, the blood of the apostles, the prophets, and the soldiers in the effort that they made and we must make in order to establish righteousness and peace on this earth (Isaiah 51:4).

Jesus, in their lifetime, was and is their Lord.  Yet, we are told to follow in the faith of those who went before us (Hebrews 13:7).

So, I will leave you with this question, “To whom are you actually submitted?”

Knowing this, let me put another question to you. Where do our said representatives derive their delegated authority? According to the Declaration of Independence, We the People, under God!

Do our said representatives put their hand on the Bible in swearing to uphold the Laws found within, “So help me God?” Why, yes, they do.

Knowing this, can someone please tell me where they are deriving or extracting the authority to attack Christians and the Word of God if not from “We the People”?

Americans, are you paying attention to what the corrupt are attempting to do here?

One must ask themselves why it is so vitally important for those in government to remove certain words from the Bible that lay charge to the guilty party concerning the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  Why do they mean to defend the guilty?

Of course, the guilty attempt to defend them under the guise of playing the victim and. in this case, those of the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 3:9), who were guilty of the murder of Jesus Christ (Mark 15:11), those who decry their opposition (in hopes of browbeating them into submission) as “anti-Semitic” when calling out their crimes (Romans 3:20).

This is the same government today, mind you, that blames law-abiding gun owners for the crimes of the guilty.  In many cases, these crimes are being committed by repeat criminals who were not lawfully dealt with the first time that they transgressed our Laws.  This reflects the injustice of those who are to bring justice, which guards our liberties.

Again, this tactic is used to restrict the rights of law abiders, not the lawbreakers.

In conclusion, these actors, who just think that they are playing a part along with these politicians who think that they are above the law (Isaiah 14:12), are quickly finding out otherwise.  How are the people in this country going to hold them accountable for making a prey of their children (Luke 17:2)?

Everybody loves to celebrate Christmas, the birth of Christ (most scholars believe He was born in September between 6 and 4 BC).  Yet, what did the disciples commemorate?

Today, we love to get together, eat, give each other presents, enjoy the beautiful lights, and a baby in a manager.  Who can’t get excited about a baby?

People make much of the birth of Christ, but did you know that in the Bible, we find no record that the New Testament Church ever celebrated Christmas?  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s wrong to celebrate the birth of Christ.  However, when it comes to a memorial, the New Testament Church didn’t have a monument to remember the birth of Christ.  What did they memorialize?  They remembered Christ’s death in the Lord’s Supper. Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-34.

There are many traditional images we have surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ, the Word that was made flesh as a sinless human being, and dwelt among us (John 1:14).

We see images of Mary and Joseph in a humble stable with cows, oxen, a donkey, some sheep, and a baby lying in a wooden manger slightly overflowing with hay or straw.

We see the shepherds worshipping Him and the wise men are there bowing before Him as they present their gifts.  We may even see a little drummer boy standing nearby, although he is not found in the Scriptures.

We think of the dramatic, brilliant, and startling angelic announcement that heralded the arrival of the Savior to the shepherds as they kept watch over their flocks by night.

“And the Angel of the Lord said unto them, for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a Manger.” – Luke 2:10-12

The Greek word for manger is ‘phatne’, which means ‘stall.’

These shepherds were officially entrusted to care for flocks that produced unblemished lambs to be sacrificed as sin offerings in the temple.

The sign to the shepherds was that the baby was wrapped in swaddling clothes with special strips of cloth wound around the baby lying in a stall.  How could it be that this sign would tell the shepherds exactly where to find the baby Jesus?

Micah 5:2 tells us that out of Bethlehem would come a ruler over Israel.

This was confirmed by the chief priests and scribes when the wise men came to Jerusalem to look for the new-born King.  They asked, “Where is He that is born King of the Jews?” (Matthew 2:2)

But did you know that in the time of Jesus, just outside of Bethlehem, there was a former military watchtower that was called in Hebrew, Migdal Eder, which means “tower of the flock.”

The lower level was used for birthing lambs which would be closely examined and later be used for sin offerings in the temple in Jerusalem.  This structure contains stalls for sheltering ewes who were about to bear their lambs.
We are told there was one particular stall where the newborn lambs were placed and wrapped in swaddling clothes to protect them from damage and/or blemish in order for them to be acceptable.

“And thou, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee it shall come, even the first dominion; the Kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.” – Micah 4:8

So, at the direction of the angel, these shepherds, who knew, raised, cared for, and closely examined sacrificial lambs, understood exactly where to find and examine the newborn King.  It was in the tower of the flock, lying in a stall where the lambs that were to be examined for sacrifices were located.

God arranged the perfect birthplace for His only begotten Son, the perfect Lamb to be sacrificed for the sins of the world (John 1:29).

In conclusion:  What was to commemorate? Christ’s death, not His birth.

It seems that the more carnal a person is, the more they will make much of his birth, and the less they will make of his death.

People love to celebrate the cradle.  Yet, they, somehow or another, hate the cross (Philippians 3:18-19).  That same giddy crowd that will be dancing around the cradle on Christmas evening will be the same giddy crowd that will be in a drunken stupor on New Year’s Eve singing the devil’s songs (John 3:6).

These people don’t see that this baby Jesus is the sovereign King.  They don’t see Him as the sinless deity, the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.  They don’t see Him as the sacrificial Savior who was going to die a death, an ignominious death on the cross, and shed His blood as the propitiation for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2).  This is scripturally what we, as Christians, should be commemorating and memorializing.
