Four Year-Old Boy tortured for four days, neighbors hear his cries and do nothing

Four Year-Old Boy tortured for four days, neighbors hear his cries and do nothing

By Heather MacAulay

On April 8, 2010, four year-old Dominick Calhoun was sitting on the living room couch eating cereal when he had a bathroom accident, he peed on the couch. This single act enraged a 24 year-old man (monster would be a better word), Brandon Hayes, who began beating little Dominick repeatedly for four consecutive days. He beat Dominick so badly that he was bruised on every part of his body. Hayes began punching and kicking him in the head, genitals, and everywhere. He burned him with cigarettes and a lighter. When Dominick’s mother tried to stop her boyfriend, she was beaten as well.  Dominick was beaten so badly that he was in and out of consciousness. Regardless, Hayes would drag his helpless body from one room to the next, torturing him, saying he deserved to die. Dominick’s aunt came in on the fourth day to find Dominick on the floor, unconscious, dressed in only a t-shirt and pull-ups. Dominick was rushed to the hospital and pronounced brain-dead.  Doctors had to remove part of his skull due to severe brain swelling. On April 12, little Dominick Calhoun passed away after being taken off life support.

During the investigation, neighbors told police that they heard the beatings and screams. They heard little Dominick crying, “Mommy, make him stop.” What amazes me is that these people heard the cries of an innocent child, and did absolutely nothing! What is wrong with people?!

While pondering this horrific tragedy, a parallel began to unfold before me. This is exactly what hypocritical religious people have done! We all know the Gospel. You can go into any hotel and find a Bible. In America, the truth is right in front of our faces, and therefore we are left without excuse. We KNOW the awful price of our redemption. We know that because of SIN (transgression of the Law of God – 1 John 3:4), the innocent Lamb of God was delivered into the hands of wicked men who reviled Him, beat Him, scourged Him, mocked Him, and delivered Him up to be crucified. Christ was marred more than any man. Let this sink down into your hearts. Christ willingly laid down His life for our eternal redemption, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us unto God. This is the most important and valuable thing all people have been given. As we “behold, the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world,” the last thing we should do is allow the Son of God to be crucified afresh by allowing sin upon us, or our neighbors.

Just as Dominick’s neighbors could be so heartless and hardened not to speak up on the behalf of the innocent, so the church has allowed, promoted, and even magnified immorality by their silence. What a shame! Woe unto those who sin by silence, for this is why corruption prevails. As Edmund Burke said, “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Dante Alighieri rightly said, “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of great moral crises maintain their neutrality.” After seeing the horrific consequence of our lack of duty to look out for one another, it is easy to understand why Dante said this. Let this be a lesson to us all in order to prevent another Dominick from suffering the repercussions of our sin.

No Child Left Un-Indoctrinated

No Child Left Un-Indoctrinated

By Cari Campos

What exactly are your kids being taught when they step foot into a public school?  Is it good or bad?  Is it dangerous or helpful—or maybe a little of both?  One of my biggest fears is that parents just blindly send their kids off to school thinking that everything is fine and dandy.  They never take the time to read through their kids’ textbooks or look into exactly what is being taught.  I can say without hesitation that if most parents were to take the time to look, they would be very shocked—and probably a little angry.  Our intention in this article is to give a small taste of what the youth in this country are being force-fed and also give you some ammo on how to fight the battle.

Adolph Hitler once said, “Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state.”  Every dictator who has ever controlled a country used the school system to gain power.  At a congress of Party education workers during the Bolshevik Revolution it was stated, “We must turn children who can be shaped like wax into real good communists.  We must remove the children from the crude influence of their families.”  This education policy meant the displacement of the family as the nation’s most important and fundamental social unit, the establishment of institutes to train state approved teachers, and the disassociation of education from the church and its traditional values.  Sound familiar?

Under the U.S. Constitution, our system of education is designed to be controlled at the local level by parents and teachers who know the children best.  This is to ensure our freedom of education.  After all, a “one size fits all” program cannot work in teaching people.

Local control of education worked for many years in this country.  That is until President George W. Bush pushed through legislation called the “No Child Left Behind Act” (NCLB).  If you ask any teacher abou t this program, he or she will probably keep you there for hours telling you how ineffective this program is, and how in most cases, it is damaging to your child’s education.

I will not spend much time on this topic because many people already know the problems with NCLB.  For those who don’t, I recommend doing a Google search on the Internet to find out about the ineffectiveness of the program.

NCLB was signed into law on January 8, 2002 with the primary purpose to close the gap between low performing and high achieving students.  This may sound like a noble cause, but the method used to achieve this is doing more harm than good.  Under NCLB, every student in every school has to pass exams called “Adequate Yearly Progress Reports.”  These exams are exactly the same for every student—including English language learners and special education students.

If schools do not pass these AYPR exams, and keep improving every year, they could face extreme sanctions—including being taken over by the state.  One teacher told me, “We are always trying to circumvent the requirements.”  Since the fear of not meeting the requirements is so strong, many schools have lowered their curriculum standards in order to get all students above par.  NCLB has not raised the standard of education in our country, but has instead, showed the youth how to aim for the floor.  The actual NCLB law is over 1,000 pages long—that’s 1,000 pages to get your students to pass exams that are the lowest level of testing in the history of education.

To this day, many states have decided either to pass their own legislation and completely opt out of NCLB, or opt out of certain requirements of the program.  In some cases, states have sued the U.S. Department of Education for not allowing them to opt out of the program and maintain their own control.   For example, when Utah began to push for opting out of NCLB, Bush administration officials made three visits to the state in less than a month.  State officials were told that if Utah chose not to participate in NCLB, all federal funding would be terminated…even those funds completely unrelated to the Act.  Would you call that freedom or dictatorship? Unfortunately, I fear this issue isn’t the only thing wrong with our educational system—it is just the tip of the iceberg.

Thomas Jefferson said, “The only foundation for useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion.” For over 200 years we had prayer and the Ten Commandments in our educational system.  But on June 25, 1962, the Supreme Court decided we didn’t need them any more, and that they were against the law.

Initially, this may not sound like a big deal, but what that decision did was create a snowball effect that has now resulted in our schools teaching more against Christian values and principles rather than just being neutral.  If you were to read a 10th grade history book, you would quickly discover that Christianity, its principles and our founding fathers, are under attack.  One textbook, America’s Pathways to Present, for example, tells students: “Along with new ways of trading and worshiping, the Europeans also brought the ravages of disease to the Native Americans.”  Both these statements may be true, but when you lump the lot together you have what’s called “association propaganda.”  Students see worship and ravages of disease on the same level.

If you think this may be stretching it a little, look at the chapter about the Puritans who first migrated to America.  These men and women were constantly—but subtly—made out to be religious freaks: they preferred to study the Bible, listen to sermons, and closely examine their lives and their world for clues to God’s will.  Like this is awkward!  It then goes on to say that the term “Puritan” has come to be associated with cheerlessness and hypocritical morality.

When reading this curriculum you will find out, for the most part, that Christianity and biblical principles apparently had little or nothing to do with the foundation of our country.  Yet if you were to do your own homework outside of a public school classroom, you would find out that Christian principles had everything to do with America’s foundation.

Let me ask you a question.  If the separation of church and state that is so flippantly taught to our youth really existed, why then are Moses and the Ten Commandments on the top of your Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C.?  Why is God written on buildings like the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, and on the Liberty Bell, to name just a few?  Why are there scripture verses on the Washington Monument?

Somebody’s not telling the truth about our country’s heritage.  Think of it this way: even if we decided as a country that we didn’t want God, morals, or biblical principles to govern us, that still doesn’t mean we need to lie to the people about where we came from and how this country started.  The best way to find out the truth on the subject is to look it up for yourself.  I would highly recommend www.wallbuilders.com or doing your own Google search.

Now that we’ve established that Christianity is under attack through the education system, you can be certain that all the values that go along with it are under attack as well—values like the traditional family and the sanctity of life.  For instance, this is what is being taught to your children about abortion.  The following excerpt is taken right out of the textbook, America’s Pathways to Present:  “Roe vs. Wade also worked to reform the laws governing a woman’s right to choose an abortion instead of continuing an unwanted pregnancy.”

My understanding of education is to give people the FACTS and TRUTH regarding the entire issue and then let them decide their own path.  I guess I would not be so frustrated except for the fact that there is no information given to the students about the extreme risks of getting an abortion, or the details of  how an abortion is performed (I would venture to say that most pro-choice youth could not tell you the first thing about the procedure).  They also don’t provide information on other options to abortion.

Not only are there no facts taught about abortion, but did you know getting or performing an abortion is against the law?  According to the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, “…nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law…”  See, no matter what you say, feel or believe, the law is the law, and upholding the law (justice) guards our liberty.

Which brings up another point; why aren’t they teaching the youth of this country its doctrine of law, the United States Constitution?  It is simple; if they know the law and follow it, they can point out the errors and prevent perversion from entering this country.  Take your job for example: when you go in for new employee orientation, you are expected to have read the handbook of the facility to understand the rules and regulations, and to understand how things operate.

When performing what is “expected of you,” you find that there are no problems, and you begin to work with the same mindset as others to help do your job efficiently.  The problem begins when someone neglects his or her “duty,” and you then reference the handbook (law), and show the error.  If that person  decides not to comply, he or she is removed from the duty (or fired) for which they were hired.  We see nothing but lawlessness in this nation, because the average citizen has no behavioral standard to refer to.   How are they to know their “duty” or what is to be “expected of them” without guidelines?

There used to be something known as right and wrong in this country, but now what is being taught in our classrooms is the standard of “tolerance.”  If you really look behind it, however, you can see how very intolerant they are.  Kids all over this country are being taught to tolerate the homosexual lifestyle (no matter what their belief on the subject), every other religion, abortion, addiction (after all it’s only a disease), and almost every other immoral act.  In most cases, they are told to tolerate everything except Christianity and its principles.

At one school where we performed recently, a teacher informed us that she will not allow any of her students to stand up and say that they feel homosexuality is wrong— either morally and physically.  That sounds like complete INTOLERANCE towards Christianity to me!  Isn’t it ironic that the very standard of Christianity is to keep people from destroying themselves, yet now it is becoming a hate crime to warn somebody about their self-destruction?

Let’s just say for a second that even if God doesn’t exist (like they keep telling the kids) and the Bible is just a storybook, our society was a lot better off when we were teaching the principles of the Bible to our kids.  Back when we had the Ten Commandments, prayer and a moral standard in our schools, the majority of problems were minor: talking out of turn, chewing gum, and perhaps an occasional fight.

Now we have school shootings, babies having babies, the abuse of every drug known to mankind, illiterate youth graduating from high school, and so much more immorality.  I would rather sacrifice all the technology and everything we are blessed with today to live back in the day when this country honored God and had a moral code of conduct.  It’s time we get back on the old paths as it says in Jeremiah 6:16, “Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”

As parents, teachers, and citizens, we must be concerned about drug abuse in the lives of the youth.  You see it becoming more and more prevalent.  But our biggest fear should be that drug dealers are no longer just on street corners; they are now sitting in doctors’ offices and CEO’s chairs.  Mental health medications—like those for ADHD—are being overprescribed at alarming levels.

Too extreme you say?  Well, have you ever heard of Teen Screen?  Teen Screen is a questionnaire being used in schools all over the country to evaluate youth for a variety of mental illnesses, including depression and suicidal tendencies.  This test is not only forced upon the youth; in some cases when parents have refused to allow their child to participate, they have been removed from the household because the parents were not looking out for the best interest of their children.

Here are a couple questions from this test:

 Has there been a time when you felt you couldn’t do anything well or that you weren’t as good-looking or as smart as other people?

 Have you often felt very nervous when you’ve had to do things in front of people?

Now, many of you answered “yes” to these questions, as do many of us. According to this test, however, we are all mentally ill.  Many of the students who take the test receive a recommendation to be put on some kind of medication.  David Shaffer, the man from Columbia University who invented the test, even said that the test has an 86 percent false-positive rate, which means that 86 percent of the time, kids are falsely diagnosed with some sort of mental disease.  Some students even said that it seemed like the only kids that weren’t diagnosed with some sort of problem, were the kids who didn’t take the test.  In some cases, parents have lost their children because they refused to medicate them.

Could it be that maybe the youth in this country need a little more parenting, discipline, structure, and love, a lot better nutrition, and a little less sugar?  Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but it seemed to work fine for my parents and grandparents.

If these drugs were actually working, there would be fewer and fewer problems in our schools.  But in actuality, the problems keep getting worse and worse, especially for those who are on the medications.  Did you know that schools get more funding when they have more students with emotional issues and staff-diagnosed learning disabilities?   I fear our kids are becoming lab rats for the future.  There is a great website that has provides a lot of good information on this issue.  Check out www.edwatch.org.

Have you ever done any research for yourself to prove how antidepressant drugs like Celexa, Effexor, Prozac, and Paxil work?  Did you know that many of the recent school shootings have been linked to suicidal tendencies because of these drugs?  For more information on antidepressants and school shootings, read the article titled “The Dangers of Antidepressants.”

The FDA recently put the following black box warning on all psychiatric drugs given to kids:

Suicidality in Children and Adolescents.  Antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thinking and behavior (suicidality) in short term studies in children and adolescents with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and other psychiatric disorders.  Anyone considering the use of [Insert established name] or any other antidepressant in a child or adolescent must balance this risk with the clinical need.  Patients who are started on therapy should be observed closely for clinical worsening, suicidality, or unusual changes in behavior.  Families and caregivers should be advised of the need for close observation and communication with the prescriber. [Insert established name] is not approved for use in pediatric patients.

I sit here wondering how it is possible that this is being pushed through the schools.  I guess the answer is very simple, as 1 Timothy 6:10 says: “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

America, there is no quick fix to these problems.  However, we are not about just pointing our fingers at the problems but rather about giving people the answers.  We could have taken each issue in this article—along with many other issues—and written pages and pages, but there isn’t enough room or time.

As I said before, the best place to start is to take a few hours and research everything you have just read.  The best way to be useful in changing something is to know the problems for yourself and not just accept what someone else tells you.

My next piece of advice is this: if you have your children in a public school, I would do everything in my power to remove them from that setting and home school them instead.  If this is not an option for you, then spend your extra time getting involved with the school system and working to get the truth and morality back in the classroom.  Take the time to teach your child the truth about all these topics.

My last piece of advice is to raise your kids and conduct your lives according to God’s standard…otherwise everything else in life will be futile.

Jeremiah 6:16 says:

Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…

I think we can all agree that things are not the way they were 40 years ago in this country. There has been a huge moral decline, and we are seeing the fruit of it with the younger generation.  We recently spoke at a youth group, and after I was done speaking, the kids in the room had so many questions.  They had absolutely no foundation, no morals, and no standard before them.

Once they started to be educated regarding issues such as our Constitution, our God-given heritage, the laws of our land, etc., they now had a place to put their feet.

We as adults need to educate (in actions first) our youth as to the moral standard set before us or all hope is lost.  Deuteronomy 4:9 says, “Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life; but teach them thy sons and thy sons’ sons…”

Read the analogy below:

One evening, a girl was talking to her grandmother about current events.  She asked what she thought about the shootings at schools, the computer age, and just things in general. The following is the grandma’s response…

God is a Good God!

God is a Good God!

What would you think of a judge who overlooked all of the crimes against you and your family? He allows your family to be ransacked, your sisters to be raped, your goods to be stolen, and your father to be killed.  On the day the criminals appear in court, they stand before the judge.  After hearing all of their crimes committed against you and your family, you find to your amazement that the judge looks down upon them from his bench and pronounces judgment unto them in this fashion: “I’m having a pretty good day today, and because I am having a good day, I am going to overlook your offenses toward these people.  You’re free to go.”

How would this make you feel?  Indignant, to say the least.  No, what makes a judge good is the fact that he upholds the Law.  He executes judgment in such a manner that the criminals will never again have the opportunity to commit such heinous crimes against anyone’s family.  So it is with the God of Heaven.

In Nahum 1:2-9, the goodness of God is revealed unto us, “God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”

Martin Luther rightly said, “We want to avoid the punishment of sin; we even want to resist it and defend our sin. We shall succeed as well as the dog that bites into the spine of a porcupine.”

The Root of our Nation’s Problem

The Root of our Nation’s Problem

By Bradlee Dean

It seems that everyone knows what the problems are with this nation – Obama’s healthcare plan, the homosexual agenda, abortion being funded, and our rights are being taken away.  People jump on the radio and talk, talk, talk, about policy and what “they” are doing, but they greatly err by forgetting to bring people back to our nation’s foundation.

Isaac Beall was a pastor during our founding fathers’ era.  He preached to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and the Legislature in Vermont, using Proverbs 29:2 as his principle text. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” Beall also mentions that not only must rulers be virtuous but so must the great body of the people because “a virtuous people cannot be enslaved.”

That’s right America!  The only reason we would be enslaved is because we put ourselves there.  We are not to sit idly by and expect the government we are supposed to keep in check to stay righteous.  We all need to put our own homes in order by obeying Christ, and then hold our officials’ feet to the fire.  This is the way to remain free.

“I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe . . . Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy.”

Introduction of My War from Bradlee Dean

Introduction of My War from Bradlee Dean

I’m Bradlee Dean, the writer, producer, and director of My War. Thank you for taking an interest in the film documentary, My War, the cumulative work of my ministry and life since 1998.

It’s a project we decided to undertake after visiting over 330 high schools around the country, talking about social and cultural issues.  We got to see first-hand the type of programs and education that our youth receive related to the situations they face.

Viewers have been extremely positive, wanting to know more about us and are happy to know that someone is speaking up. And of course there’s a few that might be angry and offended by the truths that I have spoken. In either case, I’m glad that you are here, because I want to answer as many questions for you as I possibly can.

What is behind My War? In some ways, it’s what you already know or feel, and may think that you have no way of combating. It might be what you see and think every time you drive by a public school, but are at a loss as to what you should say or do. Or maybe you are asking yourself if this is even happening in these United States of America?

It is the stirring restlessness and apprehension you might feel when you think about the things you and your posterity are being exposed to and how they are being educated, wondering if they will be able to sort out the truth for themselves.  Maybe you are bothered by the danger of what they are receiving at such an impressionable age. Is your anger and frustration at these ever quieted or addressed?

Let me start by making an observation: for the past five decades, enormous and vastly broad reaching institutions and programs have been birthed for the supposed purpose of educating our posterity. In addition, they are there to do more than simply educate – they have appointed themselves ministers and administrators of programs designed to ‘serve’ the various problems kids deal with on a daily basis.

It has been deemed by these intellectuals that in order for the exhaustive overhaul of the human and spiritual condition to occur, one thing had to be done for sure in order for all of it to work – or so they think!  They must repeat history by relentlessly, and might I add illegally and forcibly, removing God from our institutions and from all thinking – they say, we must be ‘Godless.’ God must be stripped from all of our understanding in order for them to make progress. The God of Heaven in Jesus’ name is their obstacle and one in which they will never overcome. How contrary to the path that our Founding Fathers paved for us.

Hmmm…sooo…What is the fruit of this godlessness? Statistics for teenagers in just about every category that affects their safety and wellbeing are progressively worse: pregnancy, venereal disease, crime, mental health, drug use, test scores, and the list goes on…

These destructions started taking place in our country in the 1960’s, not in 1776. The destructions that we are facing in this country are the fruit of our departure from Jesus Christ and our foundational teachings, not the other way around. Remember, truth does not need to be propped up, lies do. That is why there is continuous inundation of the air waves with godlessness.

They are making a desperate attempt to push their illegal and un-American agenda on We the People.  I’m glad that I am not going to be a part of it…and my heart breaks for those that have given themselves in submission to it.

15 years ago, after many years of partaking in every indulgence known to mankind, I finally came to the end of what the godless life had to offer.  In the end, my tragic realization was that there was nothing there beyond its inherent emptiness, a wasted past, and a clear view of how merciful God truly is. I prayed to God in Jesus’ name and He answered me by fire. He saved me from me and brought me into union with Him.

To my critics, you might observe, I was with you almost every step of the way up until 1995. I acted out what I was taught; I lived out the ends of your thinking. I cannot say that I loved your godless world, but I can say that it was all that I knew. As a matter of fact, I lived to highest standard of the lowest form of what was bestowed upon me. I lived a godless life in which the average heathen would kill for – sex, drugs, rock-n-roll, and a little fame.

An ironic twist to my life story is that the godless world that was created for me and that you so much wanted me to have is what led me to making My War! To the godless I give you My War as the product of your consorted efforts. You lose! Game over. God my Father does rule in Jesus Christ.

Now that I have seen the light, it is no longer acceptable to ‘stay seated.’  He has now set me on a course to serve Him and demonstrate that union unto mankind in power. It has been with the eyes of His Spirit that I have been able to see where the problems really were stemming from in our culture, and in particular our educational institutions and their bastions of humanistic drivel.

Folks, if you’re thinking all of the children that are being raised up in a godless society are going to come to a different conclusion than I did, let me tell you, you’re dead wrong.

There is a strong underlying movement coming forward, because God is moving in this country, and around the world, precisely in response to the attack of godlessness that has attempted to take a hold of our churches, our schools, our government, and our once honorable institutions. Indeed, gainsayers, critics, liars and corrupted individuals might do well to prepare for an awakening of the Church of Christ.

Of course there will be some that deny the reality of what is going on in our schools, but I was there and I know what I saw and heard. Let me tell you this, regardless of all of the spin, selective reporting, and cover up, the young people are not jumping up and down about being deprived of the knowledge of who they are, where it is that they came from, and losing the freedoms and prosperity that we all partake in. Not only are the immoral destroying their own future, but they are destroying the young’s as well, and they are adamantly set against reaping what the unrighteous are sowing.

Some are hoping that the younger generations will mindlessly take on their philosophies, yet I see that it’s not my God that they are turning against. The young aren’t blaming the God that they want them to blame – the God that offers life, liberty and lasting freedom through Jesus Christ. The degenerate are simply being rejected for the poison that they have interjected into the veins of society.

I say to my critics one more thing: We know that without a shadow of a doubt, the God that you are at war with, that you have attempted to strip from the culture, is not, nor ever has been a part of any problem that we are dealing with today – just the opposite. You have gotten away with blaming the God-fearing people of this land and others, and some have even conceded to you on many points. They stepped back when they should have went forward. These even internalized the condemnation, adjusted their thinking in agreement with you on so many points, and even repackaged their faith to be more palatable to you when they should have simply kept their feet upon the Rock of their salvation.

America, the only light that our posterity has, is the truth that has been given to them. And we can see clearly what happens when they are robbed of that light and truth. My War is about giving the light and truth back unto them.

While the ultimate message of My War is Jesus Christ, My War is about calling out the obvious fundamental problems with everything I see our posterity being lied to about.

America, you are not going to win this war by turning your back to the will of these illegal agendas which are aimed at demoralizing your children.  You need to stand up and charge at them lawfully that are perpetrating these destructive agendas.

God Bless!

The Grass Doesn`t Work…The Rocks Do!

The Grass Doesn`t Work…The Rocks Do!

By Bradlee Dean:

I wrote a book named, “The Grass Doesn’t Work…the Rocks Do!” a few years ago.

This day and age there seems to be a false sense of love called “TOLERANCE.”  The word “tolerance” means this: “to allow or permit negatively, by not preventing; not to restrain.”  We see the fruit of this so-called love in the youth.  Instead of magnifying the law of the land and of God by punishing crime, we allow lawlessness to run rampant and then counsel people for their problems.

Let’s put our feet back upon the rock, “…for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:9).

Check out the analogy below…

Happy Easter – What is Easter Truly About?

Happy Easter – What is Easter Truly About?

The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ’s victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes and confirms the eternal life that is given to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught. If He had not risen from the dead, He would have been just another teacher or prophet. However, His resurrection gave the final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God.

The feast day of Easter was originally a pagan celebration of renewal and rebirth. Celebrated in the early spring, it honored the pagan Saxon goddess Eastre. When the early missionaries converted the Saxons to Christianity, the holiday, since it fell around the same time as the traditional memorial of Christ’s resurrection from the dead, was merged with the pagan celebration, and became know as Easter. The meaning of Easter was also changed to reflect its new Christian orientation.

That being the case, why are Christians still celebrating Easter with a pagan twist? What does the Easter Bunny and eggs have to do with Christ’s suffering, death and resurrection? It’s time to quit following the world, but rather stick to the pure and true meaning of Easter, without sending a mixed message of confusion to our children.

What is True Love?

What is True Love?

By Bradlee Dean

Recently, I blogged about the word Tolerance, and that it is false love. This week we will answer the question: What is true love?  Does it warn someone of danger before it happens, or does it wait for them to destroy their lives with wrong choices (drinking, fornication – i.e. sex before marriage, stealing, lying, etc.) and then send them to programs like “Alcoholics Anonymous”?  The same goes with what the youth are being taught in school.  Benjamin Rush warned what would happen if the Bible were ever removed from schools:

In contemplating the political institution of the United States, I lament that if we remove the Bible from schools, we waste so much time and money in punishing crimes and take so little pains to prevent them.  For this divine book above all others, favors that equality among mankind, that respect for just laws, and those sober and fragile virtues which constitute the soul of our government.

How true it is! Read the analogy below:

You Are Not Promised Tomorrow

You Are Not Promised Tomorrow

By Bradlee Dean

I read this analogy a while back and thought it was important to put out there. Please read below…

Satan stood amidst all his cohorts, demons, imps and the such, asking the question, “What can I do to deceive the people further?” Just then, Satan had the idea to reward the one that could come up with a new deception by giving him all that he would desire.

Soon a demon glided up to satan and said, “I know what I could do to deceive the people further!” “What?” said Satan with a loud, growling anticipation. “I can tell the people that there is no God!” “No,” said Satan, with a loud voice. “You fool, man knows within himself that there is a Creator, for creation itself testifies this very truth!”

Soon another approached Satan and said, “I can deceive the people by telling them that they evolved from monkeys.” Satan with a loud voice reprimanded this one by saying, “There is none so foolish amongst God’s creation to believe such foolishness. Are there none here that are better at deceiving the people than those who have approached me? I had thought to myself that I had taught you better than that.”

One more glided from the back with a smile on his face, confidently approaching his father of lies, saying, “I will tell these created beings of the Most High that there is more time!” And this is the rewarded demon that went forth to deceive mankind by telling them, “You still have tomorrow.”

Today is the day of salvation. You are not promised tomorrow.

Bradlee Dean Says NO to Newsweek

Bradlee Dean Says NO to Newsweek

By Bradlee Dean

WHY I SAID “NO” TO NEWSWEEK

Upon the request from Newsweek reporter Michelle Goldberg for an interview, I had one of our staff do research on Michelle’s writings. After seeing her ignorance of who we are as a people and after I saw what she was going for, I knew that this was not an interview. This was a story already written before she asked me a single question. I also knew that I was not dealing with a reporter, but rather one who was pushing her ideology. Many of her articles are spent attacking Christians for their stance against abortion (the preservation of life, read Article 5 of your Bill of Rights), homosexuality (which were “Crimes Against Nature” in all 50 states until 1961), and the fact that they preach about the true Biblical foundation of this country. I already knew where she was coming from, so what was the sense in meeting with her?

Read a portion her biography below.

…Goldberg traveled through the heartland of a country in the grips of a fevered religious radicalism: the America of our time. From the classroom to the mega-church to the federal court, she saw how the growing influence of dominionism—the doctrine that Christians have the right to rule nonbelievers—is threatening the foundations of democracy.

Maybe Michelle should learn the Pledge of Allegiance to understand that we are not a democracy, but rather a  “REPUBLIC… One nation under God.” The God part is what she and others like her have a problem with. They don’t want to be ruled by anyone. Yet maybe she should take a good look at the Supreme Court building where that guy Moses and the Ten Commandments are engraved. And underneath him holding the Book of the Law it states, “JUSTICE THE GUARDIAN OF LIBERTY.” She apparently forgot to read her un-revised history books where our forefathers warned, “Those who will not be governed by God will be ruled by Tyrants” (William Penn, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson). p;nbsp;

However, people who hold Michelle’s i deals want freedom, folks, from restraint. Freedom to these is to do what you want to do rather than do what you ought to do. They want freedom from honoring the sacrifice of our veterans who have redeemed us through their blood to ratify the Constitution of these United States.  Their hopes are that people accept their opinion above God’s commands.

It has been rightly stated that if you do not listen to God’s Ten Commandments, you will listen to man’s ten thousand. So they would have it…and then we wonder why America is digressing. As the Lord promised in Psalm 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.”

Maybe she should, if I am not being too religiously radical, go to Philadelphia where the Liberty bell is and read what it states. Leviticus 25:10; “And proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” Or might I suggest that she digs into her purse and finds “In God We Trust” printed on her money? I can go on and on, folks.

LET ME EXPLAIN…

There are those who suggest that if you are a Christian, you have no right to influence public policy or even express your views in the public arena.  The “Politically Correct” movement, which favors abortion on demand, special privileges for homosexuals, and removing all references to the God of the Bible from public life, has greatly stifled any discourse that disagrees with the “correct” way of thinking.  They have gained great ground and have intimidated professed Christians from influencing their communities, states, and national policies by telling them that because of their faith, they have no right to speak.  Ironically, they base these opinions on documents that, in fact, say just the opposite.

THE FIRST AMENDMENT

The religion clause of the First Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”  Not only is there no reference to the phrase “separation of church and state,” there is also no reference to what the Church shall not do.  The Amendment refers only to restrictions on Congress.  It doesn’t tell Johnny he can’t pray in school or that a nativity scene can’t be displayed in a public park; it restrains the power of the federal government from infringing on the religious freedoms of the people!

George Washington presided over the Constitutional Convention and said:

If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed in the Convention, where I had the honor to preside, might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it.

— Reply to Virginia United Baptist Churches, May 10, 1789

James Madison, who was the chief architect of the Constitution, said: “There is not a shadow of right in the general government to intermeddle with religion” (June 12, 1788 to the Virginia Convention).

THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE

yle=”white-space: pre;”> This phrase does not appear in our Constitution or any of our country’s official documents.  It does, however, appear in another prominent document, the Constitution of the former Soviet Union: “The church in the U.S.S.R. is separated from the state and the school from the church” (Article 52).

The phrase was also penned in a private letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association in Connecticut, who had written to President Jefferson because they were concerned about the government getting involved in matters of religion.  Jefferson wrote:

I contemplate with solemn reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.

It is clear that Jefferson’s “wall of separation” referred to a one-directional wall to protect the Church from the state.  He is the same one who said, “…no power over the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, or freedom of the press being delegated to the United States by the Constitution…” in the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798.

THE ACTS OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS

One of the first acts of the first Congress of the United States was to establish chaplains for the U.S. House and the Senate.  It was clear there was no “impregnable wall” as proclaimed by the ACLU in attempts to reverse these measures.  It stands to reason that the founding fathers knew a little better what they meant when they ratified the Constitution than those in the twentieth century who seek to undo it.  They did not mean for Christians to stay out of influencing public policy…if it had been so, the vast majority of our founding fathers would have had to step down from office!  To remove Christians from politics is to allow only the ungodly to rule.

My Prayer at the MN House

My Prayer at the MN House

By Bradlee Dean

Today I gave a prayer at the opening of the MN House session. Little did I know that I was going to be giving the prayer on the same day that they were going to have a vote on the marriage amendment. After 20 minutes, I left the capitol, only to get a phone call to tell me that something unprecedented just took place. Apparently someone was angry about my prayer because I invoked the name of Jesus. Before I knew it, instead of the media reporting on it as me standing up for our future generations, all of the sudden I became an anti-gay divisive pastor, when all I did was simply say a prayer encouraging all of us to honor our veterans, uphold the Constitution, and not forget the principles of our forefathers, upon which this nation is established.

CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE PRAYER

After the media reported their fabricated story, Majority Speaker Kurt Zellers released a statement denouncing me for my actions and my words. He said, “He does not represent my values or the values of this state.” Since when, I ask, does the Constitution of the United States not represent his values or the values of the state of Minnesota? Since when, I ask, do those veterans who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom not represent Mr. Zellers’ values or the values of this state? Since when do the values of our country established in 1776 not reflect Speaker Zellers’ values, or the values of the people of this state? If Speaker Zellers does not stand for the Constitution, our veterans, the Founding Forefathers, and the Christian God to whom he swears by an oath to uphold these very things, then I would say Mr. Zellers is not fit to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Minnesota.

Today Speaker Zellers exemplified a point I have made many times over in past years. When a little heat comes for taking a stand, diplomatic people immediately bend to the opposition. They fall all over themselves to apologize for something that they claim to stand for when speaking to their constituents. But when it comes to actually putting what they said into practice, they denounce the Constitution’s laws and the people’s principles who voted them in.  How hypocritical.

I wonder how they would have responded to the First Prayer of the Continental Congress in 1774.

It goes as follows…

O Lord our Heavenly Father, high and mighty King of kings, and Lord of lords, who dost from thy throne behold all the dwellers on earth and reignest with power supreme and uncontrolled over all the Kingdoms, Empires and Governments; look down in mercy, we beseech Thee, on these our American States, who have fled to Thee from the rod of the oppressor and thrown themselves on Thy gracious protection, desiring to be henceforth dependent only on Thee. To Thee have they appealed for the righteousness of their cause; to Thee do they now look up for that countenance and support, which Thou alone canst give. Take them, therefore, Heavenly Father, under Thy nurturing care; give them wisdom in Council and valor in the field; defeat the malicious designs of our cruel adversaries; convince them of the unrighteousness of their Cause and if they persist in their sanguinary purposes, of own unerring justice, sounding in their hearts, constrain them to drop the weapons of war from their unnerved hands in the day of battle!

Be Thou present, O God of wisdom, and direct the councils of this honorable assembly; enable them to settle things on the best and surest foundation. That the scene of blood may be speedily closed; that order, harmony and peace may be effectually restored, and truth and justice, religion and piety, prevail and flourish amongst the people. Preserve the health of their bodies and vigor of their minds; shower down on them and the millions they here represent, such temporal blessings as Thou seest expedient for them in this world and crown them with everlasting glory in the world to come. All this we ask in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ, Thy Son and our Savior.

Amen.

Reverend Jacob Duché
Rector of Christ Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
September 7, 1774, 9 o’clock a.m.

As you can clearly see from this prayer, when we stray from the paths our Forefathers laid out for us, where the name of Jesus was once praised and glorified, now judgment is turned backwards and those who represent the Biblical truths of Scripture and Jesus Christ Himself are ostracized and condemned for doing that which is right before God. I see not much has changed in 2,000 years!

Take a good look around, America. The reason why our nation has gone headlong into the moral decline we see in our country today is because, as I said in my prayer, we have turned our back on our Founder, His laws, and His principles.

MN House Prayer Garners National Support

MN House Prayer Garners National Support

We want to thank all of you who took the time to write us and show your support. We posted some of the many comments below. Enjoy!

They struck your prayer from the record, restarted the session and had the House chaplain give a different nondenominational (and extremely wishy-washy) prayer?  All because you mentioned Jesus and stated a cold, hard fact about Obama?  Unbelievable.

This came to mind: “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 10:32-33)

I think the Minnesota House just disowned Jesus.

-Jason

I loved your prayer at the state capital, it was great it’s so good to see a man of God stand up and say the truth, and all the congressmen that trashed your prayer should be removed from office, Praise God!

-Larry

Dear Brad, thank you for being the uncompromising warrior for the true; Savior of the human race.. The wimps on the MN house floor heard the truth.. God honors the stand up truth of His Son You spoke the Truth, and I pray all Christians in MN rise up with the straight to the guts Truth you presented, and vote these WIMPS OUT, the first chance they get.. God Bless you my brother

-Chuck

Thank you and God bless you, Bradley Dean, for taking a stand for our Constitution, all the Americans who died defending it and for our Lord and Savior Jesus.  I listened to your prayer and it was excellent and as patriotic as any one of our Funding Fathers would have prayed when the US of America was founded. The article on the front page of the Star/Tribune (aka “red star”) was a complete pack of lies and distortions and evil spewed out between the lines (truly disgusting bias and attempted smearing of you).  It is a fact you never wanted homosexuals executed, that is a complete lie and fabrication.  When the speaker of the house showed his true colors taking a stand against the Constitution and our war dead as well as Jesus Christ, he showed himself to be truly biased and unqualified to serve in state government or any government at all.  His attack on you was truly disgusting just like the red star. This country is on its last breath and only a miracle from the Lord can save it. The diversity, political correctness and perversion recruitment programs in the school systems have just about destroyed any Godly morality left. And I am fed up with all the dual citizens who serve another state as their first loyalty not the USA. This should be illegal.  These folks should have to make a choice and sign a loyalty oath and not ever be allowed to be in any government post.  Anyhow, you did the right thing and I am not ashamed of anything you prayed or said.  I for one am proud to have you in Minnesota working hard for all of us.  You did a great job representing our Republic and God our Father. I can't thank you enough for all the good you do.

-Jim

“Sweet!!!!!!!! I love it thanks for the awesome message!!”

-Lynette

Thank you for standing strong in a place many would back down from.  Jesus is a dividing line for many, there is so much power and authority in His name. Continue to walk in His way.

-Mike

Thanks for speaking the truth Minister Dean!!!

-Patrick

Thank you! Bradlee Dean and Brothers and Sisters in Christ for this website.

I am very thankful for the courageous stand that Bradlee Dean took as he prayed publically from his heart the other day and incurred the anger of many of those politicians that were present.  I am glad you shook up things by praying earnestly in the Name of Jesus. Never worry if your words were appropriate because they were.

God filled your mouth with what to say and the prayer was powerful. Our country is blind to it’s sin and needs to be jolted awake to the only way to be saved and that is Jesus, whom you proclaimed.  You weren’t ashamed of Jesus and He is not ashamed of you! I know that God is pleased Bradlee. Our nation must repent! I am praying for all of you to stand strong and firm in the liberty of Christ Jesus. I love the Lord and I love my country and I know that your prayer will serve to encourage and mobilize some believers to take a strong stand and to step up and speak the truth of God’s Word in and out of season.   The Church has been silent too often, when it should be bold. Thank you for impacting this godless culture. One day I hope you will find out the true value of your prayer that day, Bradlee.  I believe in my heart that:  Somebody was listening with an open mind. Somebody was affected in a good way, even if they didn’t speak up. Somebody went home to look at their bible.  Somebody examined their own heart to see if they were in the faith or not.   God Bless you! May God continue to lead, guide and direct, and protect you as you fulfill His will and your purpose, on earth as ordained in heaven.

-Peggy

Dan Kant

Speaker Zellers got punked by the political left on Friday.  Obviously he cannot think for himself and reacted in way that threw gasoline on a fire that did not even have a spark.  I see no controversy in the speech and prayer and I am very confused over the whole thing.  Speaker Zellers owes you an apology.   He had a rhinoceros tone.  I am calling my rep Tara Mack about this. I am also calling Salem Communications because I noticed they did not have the Sons of Liberty show on today.   There is a beautiful thing called “Freedom of Religion” in this country. When we start dictating to Pastors what they are supposed to preach and what they are not allowed to preach.   We are all in trouble.  Hang in there, Pastor Dean.   I will be giving my two cents on this issue.   Thanks.

-Dan

Hurray for Bradlee Dean! Speaking the truth in love.

-Bill

This was an absolutely beautiful prayer. God bless you Bradlee!

-Lani

This is what I wrote… I’m sending it along because the comments are exploding and it is hard to find.   The MN legislature should just be glad you guys didn’t send Jake over; they’d still be praying right now!!!!    Keep it up.

-Chris

Fox has shown it’s bias by stating in the title  “Anti-Gay” pastor.  The controversy is, as should have been reported and titled; “Pastor dares to act on conviction & beliefs and prays in the name of Jesus Christ; as our founding fathers did in years past”.   The founding documents of our country clearly demonstrate that this government was established as a Christian government/country based not on humanistic natural law, but upon the natural laws created by Jesus Christ, for by whom all things were created and all things are sustained.  Jesus Christ is one of the three “who’s” in the one “what” Christians describe as the Triune God, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.  All equal, but with distinguishable roles.  Dean was right to pray in the name of Jesus Christ; as our first president rightly declared that the two pillars of a just society are religion & morality; but Washington wasn’t referencing any religion or any moral code – no, to understand him the context of history, the only right interpretation of Washington is to understand that he meant the Christian religion, whose Author, Perfector, and only rightful leader is Jesus Christ.  These facts, not about Christianity, but about the government’s recognition there of Christianity are true — and there’s the rub.   Fox missed the chance to highlight the real problem in both our Federal & State institutions — the lack of a correct understanding of history — now there’s a real story.

Kudo’s to Dean; for he knows that truth is truth whether it is accepted, acknowledged, or not.  From my point of view, Dean & his association Sons of Liberty Radio and./or You can Run but Cannot Hide International are only one of few Christian based organizations that love our politicians and/or the Homosexual/LGBT communities enough to tell them what his religion believes, what God has established because he cares for the soul.

The “Anti-Gay” label in the subtitle couldn’t be any more wrongly placed nor factually inaccurate.  Dean says what he thinks & believes not out of self promotion nor attention seeking, but because he believes & wants others to think, debate, discern, and decide based on the truth, not based on the lies of a wayward culture that has distorted the thinking of the latest generations.

I do not see anything wrong with this, this prayer actually made me happy to hear but the politicians involved didn’t like it why? Whatever happened to In God We Trust- and nobody goes to the Father except through me-Jesus- Our nation is in dire need of an awakening by the Holy Spirit-Lord have mercy on us.

-Matt

Our CHRISTIAN founding fathers would have said sincerely “AMEN.”

-Eric

“Another non-issue made into an issue by the ever-vigilant, non-partisan media.”

-George

Those who have the courage to speak will be blessed by God with opportunity to do so. But how was this the slightest bit controversial?

-Tom

You have my full support!

Bravo!  Right on.  Keep on lifting up Jesus.  Frankly, I’m outraged that others were outraged…

-Paul

You fight the good fight. You are iron sharpening iron. You speak the Word, and humbly take on the sin that surrounds us. For this they call you radical. An on fire man of God in a culture of Godless, cold and lukewarm Christians…maybe you are radical.

–David

Some Ministries are like lightning rods separating themself from the worldly and ungodly by standing on Gods Word. Other ministries are like a weather vane on a roof that change direction when the winds public opinion blow. People which one are you?

-Ed

I’m outraged!!! That our leaders or lack there don’t want to pray in the name of Jesus every time! Thanks Bradlee!

-Les.

I loved the prayer and if the speaker of the house in the state of MN Kurt Zellers can’t stand behind this he does not stand behind America! He needs to be VOTED OUT. Thank you for doing this it exposed who the spineless in MN are!

-Nicole

Love it when people tell the truth. Especially this guy! Heard absolutely nothing he said that I disagree with.

I see nothing here to apologize for. Is there something wrong with speaking the truth? Leidiger is the one who should apologize  to his constituents and to preacher Bradlee Dean.

Thank you Mr. Dean. Truth needs no apology.

Amen! I stand with you, Pastor Dean.

Why was an apology necessary? He only pointed out the truth. President Obama is an enemy of Christianity and Judaism, and that took tremendous courage. Preach it, brother!

Absolutely nothing wrong HERE!!!! God Bless You, Preacher!!

Liberals can be offended, but Christians are not allowed.

Trust Me, The majority of my Liberal friends offend me deeply!!

Thank God they are few someone has to take a stand against these petty whiners, Americans are fed up !! Semper Fi.

And the list can go on and on!

The press is at it again…

The press is at it again…

By Bradlee Dean

Recently, it was said in the papers that I apologized to Kurt Zellers, the Speaker of the House, for my prayer – that is absolutely untrue. The only apology I made to Kurt Zellers, is that I’m sorry he is in the position that he is if he did not hear me. For the record, Kurt Zellers did not denounce or expunge my name from the record, he denounced and expunged the principles of the American people, the people from the great state of MN, and he denounced the principles that America is founded upon.

Minnesotans put Kurt Zellers into a position to lead the people and to stand upon the Constitution and values of our forefathers. This exemplifies a point which I have made many times: instead of standing up for the Minnesotans who voted him in, he got a little weak-kneed and bowed to a small wind of opposition.  So today it is made clear that he denounced the content of my prayer.

Read my prayer here.

Another lie the media promulgated was that Kurt Zellers was going to put a stop to a press conference with me (which I didn’t call for) at the state capitol with multiple reporters in attendance. In fact, that is the furthest thing from the truth. I conceded to the wishes of those who did not want me to stir things up again by my appearance at the capitol. I cancelled it, and put aside the personal attacks on myself for the gre ater good of the marriage amendment vote.

See Sons of Liberty co-host Jake McMillian calling off the press conference here (taken from cell phone, excuse the audio).

Since the media nationwide has picked up the story, we have received thousands of responses with angry American citizens who were disappointed in elected officials such as Zellers for his wavering apology.  I am sure he has received their responses as well. Maybe Mr. Zellers should take the time to read the Constitution which hundreds of thousands of men and women fought, bled and died to uphold before he denounces their values.

In conclusion, I am not angry with the left. The left does what they do because the right doesn’t do what they should do, and this was very clear to see on Friday.

Thank you for hearing me out, America. God Bless!

My Apologies…

My Apologies…

By Bradlee Dean

Recently the great men and women of the Minnesota House of Representatives bestowed on me the honor to open session with a prayer.   I am a citizen of Minnesota and as our State Constitution declares, I am “Grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity.”

In that prayer, I admired and honored the great sayings and depictions displayed on the walls – from Moses to Washington to Jefferson and so many more that have honored our Lord and given Him proper recognition.  Further, I acknowledged the soldiers throughout history who have sacrificed everything to ratify the Constitution we live under.  And twice I acknowledged Christ in closing.

Those gestures provided great offense to some legislators and spurred apologies from other legislators to those offended. As such, it has been suggested I apologize, retract, or clarify – I will attempt the last.

As the media developed their story around my prayer, it turned out the real controversy had to do with the coincidental timing of the invitation with the Marriage Amendment schedule – of which I can say with absolute honesty there was no political intent, from me or the Representative that we worked with to set the actual day (which had changed multiple times during the weeks prior).

As it went, the reporting ended up focusing more on statements I supposedly made in the past regarding homosexuality.  While I have been vocal at times about homosexuality, virtually none of my actual perspectives about the issue were presented in context or totality. As such, the story went the way of tabloid shock news and had me labeled as a hateful preacher who advocates and endorses the Muslim penalties of death and stoning for homosexuality – I don’t!  While I’ve made that clear many times in the past, it was never reported this time around.  That type of journalism doesn’t require my apology.  The media’s divisive nature doesn’t require my apology.

One of the points I’m making today and through interviews, is that there is now enough information in the public domain that people should be able to figure out the truth or ask me if you don’t know for sure.  For all the terrible things that were reported, nobody bothered to validate the worst claims of it – people just acted as if it were true and some responded as such – those folks don’t need my apology.  Beyond that, there were many other falsities put forward regarding statements I never made for which I will be seeking retractions.

For the record, I am a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  My focus and mission has been, “To reshape America by redirecting the current and future generations both morally and spiritually through education, media and the Judeo-Christian values found in our U.S. Constitution.” To that point, my radio program and film documentary cover a broad spectrum of political, social and family issues from a Christian perspective.

If my hope as a Minister, my prayer, my person, or even this letter now, prevent anyone from hearing my sincerest attempts to magnify the Constitution of our great state and nation “under God”, I request you please forgive me.  If I have said anything that conflicted with truth, and compromised my Lord and Redeemer, I beg God to forgive me.

The Price of our Redemption

The Price of our Redemption

By Bradlee Dean

We are trying to do a futile thing if we do not know where we came from or what we have been about.” — Woodrow Wilson

How are we to know who we are if we do not know where we came from? As I look back to the 60’s (when I was a child), I see the very things that have been withheld from us. And what is that? What some have continuously waged war against – our Godly heritage and the Constitution. And please do not forget we are, of course, liberated as we magnify our laws. He who magnifies our Godly heritage and the Constitution the most, loves the most, and is most grateful to the One who gave it.

This is why I honor God’s Son Jesus Christ, because He died for my sins to set me free from sin (Matthew 1:21) to ratify God’s covenant. In like manner, the veterans died for my natural liberation (freedom) to ratify the Constitution of these United States. Not because I have to, but because I cannot help myself not to. Look what they have done for us, look at the price that they have paid. The awful price of redemption came through their sacrifice, so we can walk in freedom.

Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend. And look at the love these have demonstrated unto us through their sacrifice. How I could I possibly be an enemy to those who gave us so much? Now John 3:16 has meaning.

The Media’s Twisted Telephone Game

The Media’s Twisted Telephone Game

President Chester Alan Arthur (1881-1885) said, “If it were not for the reporters, I would tell you the truth.”

The Game

When I was a little kid in elementary school there was a game called Telephone. The first person would say a sentence and then go around a circle with other kids reciting what was originally said. The last kid would then say what he heard out loud. Oftentimes it would come back so misconstrued that it had nothing to do with the intent or context in which it was originally stated. How much more the “kids” that call themselves reporters through the state run media?

What Reporters Believe

Robert Lichter and Stanley Rothman, two media scholars, interviewed 240 news anchors, editors, and news writers, and here’s what they found out:

1) 47% of those that report the news in this country believe that adultery is okay.  That’s cheating on your spouse – Dad and Mom cheating on each other. Now, I am from a broken family, and I am sure that a lot of you listening to this are from broken families.  Did you know that the laws are not being enforced in this land?  In 28 states to this day, it is still illegal for folks to commit adultery on each other, but the laws have not been enforced since 1944.

2) 76% of those that report the news see nothing wrong with homosexuality.  All the way up until 2002, the laws on acts of sodomy were in tact.  They have now been overturned in this country.  Before 1961 this was illegal in every single state in this country.  They were rightly called “Crimes against nature.” Until 1973, it was also considered to be a mental illness.  Now what is the media pushing on you?  That it’s normal, when in truth it is not! (Romans 1:26-28) If you were busted in Rhode Isl and before 1961, you would go to prison for 15 years – the laws were very harsh. Click here to see our forefathers’ position regarding sodomy.

3) 90% of those that write your papers in this country believe there is nothing wrong with aborting a baby.  For those that didn’t know, until 1973 it was against the law to have an abortion.  Now we think it’s no big deal because that’s what you’re being taught.

4) 86% of those that write your paper in this country seldom or never attend church.

A few years ago, we had the opportunity to interview Don Shelby, a news anchor with WCCO in Minneapolis, and we asked him how he could tell right from wrong.  This was his reply, “If you are asking journalists to be an arbiter to decide differences of morality, you are asking the wrong people.  My job is to determine where fairness and justice is failing.”  Well, Don, how can you tell what’s fair or unfair, just or unjust, if you have no knowledge between what’s right and wrong?

Let me show you what the media’s meaning of fairness and justice is.

Richard Salant, former president of CBS news, said: “Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have.”  That’s pretty arrogant, isn’t it?

Walter Cronkite, former CBS news anchor said, “News reporters are certainly liberal and left of center.”

Herman Dismore, foreign editor of the New York Times, said, “The New York Times is deliberately pitched to the liberal point of view.”

Richard Cohen, senior producer for CBS, said,  “We are going to impose our agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with.”

This Last Week

This past week I sent letters to media outlets who reported on my prayer at the MN House session. The following outlets (and many more unnamed) reported on me just like the Telephone game: Minneapolis Star Tribune, MSNBC, St. Cloud Times, City Pages, KARE 11, WCCO, KSTP 5, ABC News, etc.

What is interesting, and it should be of concern for every citizen in this country, is that not one, I said not one, of these media outlets called me and asked me any questions before reporting. This is not reporting; this is creating the story out of thin air because they “heard or read somewhere.” Once respected media outlets have again proven that they cannot be respected or trusted. Respect was once earned, however, this new breed of reporters think it’s given. These outsources have no credibility whatsoever. And people should take note of their intended  “propaganda.”

It Was Posted

On my website, we posted on June 3, 2010 a complete list of debunked lies by certain anti-American, George Soros funded, homosexual outlets such as “The Independent.”  Many of these outlets even referenced my website, and things that were on my website, but just happened to overlook what was written in the debunking of the lies that they themselves have again propagated. Some of these outlets were so twisted, fabricated, misconstrued, and so foul that I cannot even repeat what was written or what was said.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow even went so far as to reverse her story from last year to this year, knowingly undoing what she quoted on my disclaimer. See Disclaimer

My Point

My point in writing this letter to you today is that the media must be held accountable for the misinformation given to the people. These reporters report as if God does not see or respond to their lies. (Galatians 6:7-8).

Now I can understand why so many media outlets are disrespected and are losing business by the droves. That is what happens when the lack of truth is in their articles. If these reporters do not know how to tell the truth, then they need to find another job. People are tired of the half-truths and blatant lies being promulgated on a daily basis throughout this country.

The Irony

The irony of the story with the elementary students is that at least the truth comes out after the other children ask the first kid what was originally said, which was lost going through all of the heads and mouths in the room. Apparently reporters have to go back and relearn how the game is played.

Extreme and Radical? I Agree!

Extreme and Radical? I Agree!

By Bradlee Dean

Change

Firstly, I would like to state that when President Obama came into office with all the promises put forth with the motto “change” into his agenda, I have to admit that I was hopeful and happy for a righteous future under a black American President. I was very hopeful to see all of his promises fulfilled to restore “We the People.” I have always had a great respect for authority when I knew it was lawful and right.

However, shortly after his inauguration it seemed everything did change, but not the change that was promised. With all clarity, America seems to be under attack, as a vast majority of Americans agree. I have noticed that almost every circle of life in America has a deep concern as to where this administration is attempting to take this country. What we have all noticed is that this it is a pretty “radical” and “extreme” administration, to say the least.  No president has the authority to tear down the Constitution and rebuild it in his own image. While I do agree that things must change, it must change not to the new, but rather to the old (Jeremiah 6:16); and not to what some want us to become, but rather what our forefathers intended. As I have said in many radio interviews, the problems did not start in this country in 1776; they started when we departed from the principles that have been given unto us. America has the longest standing constitution in the history of mankind, and I propose that we stay on course so our posterity has a future of freedom as well.

Respecting the Office

During a radio interview last week I was asked, “Are you anti-establishment?” I cleared the air immediately by stating, “Holding government’s feet to the Constitution is not anti-establishment, but rather pro-establishment. And it is the responsibility of the people to hold them accountable to their oath.” If I did not love my government, my country, and my people, I wouldn’t say a thing about the errors that are so apparent. Those who leave off duty are anti-establishment (these people do not seem to care what happens), not those who take the pains to correct the errors we see today.

Let me ask you a question. What would you think of me if I were to burn the American flag? What would you do? Or what would you do if I were to desecrate the graves of our veterans who have fought, bled and died to establish or ratify our constitution by tearing it (the Constitution) down. You would not let me go too far before correcting me, would you? I hope you said no.

Likewise, I am not going to dishonor the veterans and their sacrifice by honoring those in office that are disrespecting their appointed position. The veterans honored their oath, and so should those who serve “We the People.” I respect government so much that I want them honoring those who died to give it. This is real honor (Romans 13:4). And every righteous individual in government will stand behind these statements.

Putting Things into Perspective

What is “extreme and radical” is the fact that that the very foundations of our nation are being assaulted by this administration. New policy is being put forth on a daily basis (America, policy follows Law, Law does not follow policy. It has been rightly stated, “If you will not listen to God’s Ten Commandments, you will listen to man’s ten thousand.”) Our borders are wide open, and this administration sues Arizona’s governor for doing what they themselves should have done; 3,700 babies a day are being aborted and this administration wants more money to do more abortions (see Proverbs 6:17); the family institution is under attack and this administration puts forth more efforts to support gay marriage and pulls the Justice Department from defending the Defense of Marriage Act. This administration has also overthrown Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (notice the name – the name reflects the intents of the author).

These call our Constitution  “propaganda”; Obama omits “by their Creator” from the Declaration of Independence by his actions, and “One Nation Under God” is no longer in their vernacular.  Even the Christian crosses of our veterans are under attack.  Then on top of all of this, President Obama states that we are no longer a “Christian Nation”, and in a speech in Egypt he said, “You might say that America is a Muslim nation.” Pretty extreme folks, yea?!

It is also interesting that this administration and its minions have even gone so far to call their constituents (“We the People”) Nazis, bigots, racists, radicals, haters and extremists for doing what they swore that they themselves would uphold – namely the Constitution. That is like getting mad at a good cop and labeling him as a “pig” for simply enforcing the laws of the land.

Yet, it was reported recently that people such as myself are “radical” and “extreme” who speak strongly against these violations of who we are as a people. That is the definition of a patriot – to stand against tyranny. President Thomas Jefferson said, “Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.”

Now which one is extreme? It has been said that desperate times call for desperate measures. And those times are here.

So putting it into perspective, the actions of our representatives and their unconstitutionalities are “extreme”. They swear to uphold the Constitution with their hands placed upon the BIBLE, and they are the very ones who stand in contradiction of what they promised to uphold. Again, let’s put things into perspective.

Appeal to Heaven

We will continue to “Appeal to Heaven” and ask Almighty God in Jesus’ name to grant us the victory while we continue to “seek peace and pursue it,” and return to the path our forefathers laid out for us to walk in (Jeremiah 6:16.) The motto during the revolutionary war was “No king but KING JESUS.”

Extreme as a Positive

Were the patriarchs extreme for saying, “We ought to obey God rather than man” when they were told not to preach in the name of Jesus Christ? Were our forefathers extreme for confronting a tyrannical king and refusing to obey his unjust decrees? Are the American people extreme for decrying the abuses of what is taking place in our country today? No, just the opposite is true. America is simply responding to the abuses.

Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world.

– Daniel Webster

The Conclusion

No man is above the law and no man is below it; nor do we ask any man’s permission when we ask him to obey it. Obedience to the law is demanded as a right; not asked as a favor.

– Theodore Roosevelt

The Bible tells us plainly what is expected of a king; in our situation, our president. Deuteronomy 17:14-20 says:

When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

Keith Ellison takes a shot at Bradlee Dean

Keith Ellison takes a shot at Bradlee Dean

By Bradlee Dean

Extreme

It was my understanding that Keith Ellison has been making comments about me (The Daily Beast), saying to the American people that they “may not know quite how extreme this guy (Bradlee Dean) is.” Interesting. Can you say Keith is straining at a gnat while he swallows the BIG camel?

Due to the fact that I am not qualified to attack the issues of Isalm, I will let Brigette Gabriel expose Keith Ellison to say what I could never say.

Think Again

Let me say this, until America gets out of the political rhetoric and the games that are being played out in front of our faces, nothing is going to change. If you think the incumbent leadership both politically and religiously are going to bring you forward, you better think again. Though there is good leadership in both camps, there needs to be much more.

If we had a coach for the NFL football team that lost game after game after game for the last 50 years, wouldn’t you agree that things need to change, namely the coach?

Until you call things for what they are and bring the firm correction needed, things are going to remain the same. America needs to change that. Justice the guardian of Liberty, was put as an inscription on the Supreme Court buildi ng for a reason.

According to Keith Ellison

According to Keith Ellison’s accusations, it is extreme to stand up for our posterity (future generations), to protect the family, and to enforce the laws of our land. If this is extreme then it is extreme. I rest my case. Keith Ellison is right. But let me reassure you that it is the “extreme” that America is calling for, and it is rightly called leadership.

The right time to do the right thing is right now and America is waiting for the now. It is time for the re-establishing of who we are as a “Republic”, “One nation under God” (the Christian religion) “indivisible” (undividable, unbreakable) with “Liberty” (freedom to do the things that we ought to do) and “Justice” (according to the Mosaic Institution – who is on the top of our Supreme Court Building) for “All” (even people of other faiths such as Keith Ellison so long as they abide by the laws of OUR land).

To make myself clear, the extremities that I have advocated (according to Keith Ellison) are not lawless but rather lawful; they are not unconstitutional but rather Constitutional; they are not un-American but rather American. Keith Ellison seems to forget in his folly that I am not the one trying to overthrow our Constitution or the laws of our land, he is. I may be extreme, but I am extreme in preserving this country. Too many of our veterans have paid the ultimate price by giving the ultimate sacrifice and I am not going to roll over and let anyone desecrate their memories.

The Radicals

The problem with the radicals is that they don’t know how to deal with those who do not roll over every time they want another law overthrown. Those days are over. People are tired of being rolled over upon. America has been screaming from the housetops for 3 years now, enough is enough! Where have you been, Keith Ellison? Do you not hear the voice of your constitutients? Or do you forget that you work for “We the People”?

I would ask Keith Ellison, what is extreme about our laws? What is it that you do not like about who we are? Our laws say NO to Sharia law in this country! Is this your problem, Keith?  According to your mindset that is extreme. So be it! Extreme it is.  The people all over the country are rising up against the gay agenda that you, Keith, are attempting to put forth. 31 of 50 states have voted gay marriage down. Is this your problem, Keith? According to your mindset that is extreme. Extreme it is! So be it! Apparently Keith Ellison does not know that sodomy is illegal in this country. That is pretty extreme Keith! But then again Keith Ellison is also the first politician that has blatantly disrespected everything about who we are as a CHRISTIAN nation. Keith Ellison broke tradition in our country by swearing in on the Koran (rather then the Holy Bible). That’s pretty extreme Keith.

Keith reminds me of those who hate good cops. The good cop loves his country so much that he honors everything about his established government by enforcing the laws of his land towards anyone that would attempt to overthrow it.

America, who would call a good cop “extreme”? You fill in the blank ________.

Keith, Do Your Homework Next Time

Keith might want to do his homework on those who he attacks, and maybe even give them a call before he tells the press things that he knows nothing of. It’s best for Keith to stick with the people that do not know the difference (as to who he is) like he has been, because they are the only ones foolish enough to ignore the writings on the wall.

How Extreme Am I?

Martin Luther King Jr. said, “I must admit that I was initially disappointed in being so categorized (as an extremist). But as I continued to think about the matter, I gradually gained a bit of satisfaction from being considered an extremist… [Was not] Abraham Lincoln [an extremist]: “This nation cannot survive half slave half free.” [Was not] Thomas Jefferson [an extremist]: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists will we be… Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or [will we be extremists] for the extension of justice?”

America, you decide.

Homosexual Marriage: My position, you win, I rest my case

Homosexual Marriage: My position, you win, I rest my case

By Bradlee Dean

When doing high schools across the country we noticed that when the media began to push an illegal agenda called the gay agenda (sodomy is illegal in this country) we started getting attacked from the media.

During my assemblies, I would do a piece on what those who report the news believe in. 76% of those who write your papers in this country believe that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. All the way up until 1961 it was illegal in every state to commit the crime of sodomy. Homosexuality was considered a mental illness up until 1973. There has also never been any such thing as gay marriage in the history of mankind.

So, for simply inciting the laws of the land in which the radical homosexuals hate so much, I became a target. The radical homosexuals want to re-educate America by teaching people of all ages to hate the laws that expose their crimes.  So the next time you hear “hate crimes,” remember that is the criminal who hates the law.

It is like a bunch of criminals standing around a good cop trying to threaten him that if he enforces the laws of the land towards crime, he is guilty of “hate.”

Gay Marriage

As stated in the first piece, never in the history of mankind has there ever been anything called “gay marriage.” Never.

This is not about homosexuals getting married; this is about a government-backed agenda. Radical leaders are using the homosexual communities as a political battering ram to overthrow all sense of right and wrong. Not a good place to put yourself.

Time and time again, I have loved sinners (including homosexuals) so much that I have warned them of their sins before a just and a holy God; I have warned them of the consequences of their lifestyles; and have even warned them of their impendin g dangers (contracted diseases from their sins). Unfortunately, my love has been misconstrued to mean hate (read John 7:7 and Psalm 109).

My Position

My position as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has always been to protect the family, to fight for our posterity (so they have a Godly inheritance), and to enforce the laws of our land towards crime (so we can enjoy peace).

I Rest My Case

My objective has always been to seek and save that which was lost – homosexual or not. That is my duty. All sinners are my objective. The homosexual agenda got in front of me and I simply dealt with it in a Biblical, historical, and legal perspective. And I will continue to do so if circumstance calls for it.

You Have Won the Vote in Minnesota

I believe that I have done my duty. The people of the great state of Minnesota now have the power to vote. It is now up to you to decide for your posterity what kind of future that you want to have for them. The power is in your hands. I rest my case.
